The device includes a plurality of digital signal inputs each adapted for receiving a plurality of pixel information from the incoming stream of pixel data. The digital signal inputs are in communication with at least one buffer for the pixel information once received by the device. A processing unit is included for image warping the pixel information by performing, on each of a respective of the pixel information: (i) a mapping relating to location of the respective pixel information, and (ii) a scaling function. The geometric mapping can be performed by applying an interpolation technique; and the scaling function can be any of a number of photometric correction functions (alpha-blending, color uniformity correction, image brightness or contrast adjustment, etc.). Once an image warping has been performed on the respective pixel information, it is routed out of the device through one of several digital signal outputs. A system for routing pixel data is disclosed having two or more of the pixel compositor devices in communication with an image rendering cluster of units (as the source of the incoming stream of pixel data) and a plurality of projectors; as is a method for routing an incoming stream of pixel data having been rendered elsewhere and bound for being projected. | 02-18-2010 |

20160035139 | LOW LATENCY STABILIZATION FOR HEAD-WORN DISPLAYS - Methods, systems, and computer readable media for low latency stabilization for head-worn displays are disclosed. According to one aspect, the subject matter described herein includes a system for low latency stabilization of a head-worn display. The system includes a low latency pose tracker having one or more rolling-shutter cameras that capture a 2D image by exposing each row of a frame at a later point in time than the previous row and that output image data row by row, and a tracking module for receiving image data row by row and using that data to generate a local appearance manifold. The generated manifold is used to track camera movements, which are used to produce a pose estimate. | 02-04-2016 |

20150342184 | SLEEVES AND THE LIKE HAVING ANTI-MICROBIAL PROPERTIES FOR USE IN RESTAURANTS AND OTHER PUBLIC AND PRIVATE FACILITIES - Sleeves, menus, tablecloths, pens, door push covers and other restaurant-type articles having anti-microbial properties to prevent the passage of microorganisms. Sleeves may be used with condiment containers, pens, door knobs, menus, chair arms, door pushes, etc. The articles herein are fabricated of a material impregnated with anti-microbial chemicals and/or compounds. The material is also non-absorbent (i.e., water resistant) allowing the articles to be wiped clean using conventional commercial cleaning agents. Materials used for fabricating tablecloths, for example, may have fibers impregnated with anti-microbial chemical and/or chemicals. Impregnating a material with one or more anti-microbial chemicals and/or compounds results in a material having the following properties: (i) water resistant; (ii) flexible and (iii) microorganism resistant. | 12-03-2015 |

20150090442 | CHEMICAL BASED WELL KICKOFF SYSTEM FOR NATURALLY FLOWING WELLS - A reaction apparatus for providing reactants from a surface to a wellbore to create a generated gas when the reactants undergo a reaction in situ to affect the density of a fluid in the wellbore, the reaction apparatus comprises a reaction housing, the reaction housing comprises a first reactant cell configured to contain a first reactant, a second reactant cell configured to contain a second reactant, a mixing chamber, configured to allow the first reactant and the second reactant to mix, a first passage configured to allow the first reactant to pass from the first reactant cell to the mixing chamber, a second passage configured to allow the second reactant to pass from the second reactant cell to the mixing chamber, an outlet configured to allow the generated gas from the reaction to escape the mixing chamber, a line comprising a plurality of electric cables, and a reel. | 04-02-2015 |
20150093257 | Peristaltic Submersible Pump - A system for displacing fluid inside of a tubular member includes at least one peristaltic pump. Each peristaltic pump includes an elongated core member with a longitudinal axis located within the tubular member. A flexible member surrounds, and is concentric to, the elongated core member. The flexible member has a plurality of circular bands disposed along a length of the flexible member, each circular band being moveable between a contracted condition with a minimal radius and an expanded condition with a maximal radius. An outer membrane covers the circular bands, forming a first fluid cavity between an outer surface of the outer membrane and an inner surface of the tubular member. The outer membrane is operable to generate peristaltic waves in the first fluid cavity by selectively moving each circular band between the contracted condition and the expanded condition. | 04-02-2015 |
20150233228 | FLUID HOMOGENIZER SYSTEM FOR GAS SEGREGATED LIQUID HYDROCARBON WELLS AND METHOD OF HOMOGENIZING LIQUIDS PRODUCED BY SUCH WELLS - A system and method for improving the flow characteristics of gaseous slug-laden liquid hydrocarbon wells, particularly from horizontal, of similar boreholes. The invention provides a system and method which essentially homogenizes the liquid and the gas, utilizing a unique flow tube arrangement and a sequence of steps by first breaking up and separating the slugged gas from the liquid at a first location, and then gathering it into holding location—i.e., an annulus section—where it is re-introduced in controlled amounts into the liquid downstream of the first location. The gas is re-introduced into the liquid flow in such pre-determined and controlled quantities as to promote better pressure and flow characteristics of the hydrocarbon liquid product. Various alternative gas/liquid separation devices are incorporated into the system of the invention, which devices may be located either in a vertical wellbore or a horizontal wellbore, depending upon the particular well characteristics. Optionally, an electric submersible pump may be incorporated where needed to assist the mixed production flow toward surface. A compressor may optionally be provided in the gaseous holding location, where needed. An apparatus for homogenizing production fluid from an oil well having one or more horizontal bores is also disclosed. | 08-20-2015 |
