20160083441 | Development of Protein-Based Biotherapeutics That Penetrate Cell-Membrane and Induce Anti-Cancer Effect - Cell-Permeable Trefoil Factor 1 (CP-TFF1) in Gastrointestinal Track (GIT) Cancer, Polynucleotides Encoding The Same, and Anti-Cancer Compositions Comprising The Same - The present study investigated the use of macromolecule intracellular transduction technology (MITT) to deliver biologically active TFF1 protein into gastric cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo. Proteins engineered to enter cancer cells are supposed to suppress cell proliferation and survival, consistent with its role as a tumor suppressor. The invention has developed new hydrophobic CPP-advanced MTDs (aMTDs) for high solubility/yield and cell-/tissue-permeability of the recombinant therapeutic fusion proteins. The TFF1 protein has been fused to aMTD165 and solubilization domains (SDs), and tested their therapeutic applicability as a gastric cancer-specific protein-based anti-cancer agent. Treatment with CP-TFF1 in gastric cancer cells reduced cancer cell viability (60%˜80% in 10 μM treatment), inhibited cell migration (approximately 50%). Furthermore, CP-TFF1 significantly inhibited the tumor growth during the treatment and the effect persisted for at least 3 weeks after the treatment was terminated (90% inhibition at day 42) in a xenografts model which were subcutaneously implanted with tumor block of gastric cancer cells (MKN45). In the present invention, CP-TFF1 recombinant protein showed the potential of novel protein therapies against gastric cancer. | 03-24-2016 |

20100117378 | DOORLOCK DEVICE FOR AN ELECTRIC HOME APPLIANCE - The doorlock device according to the present invention comprises a latch which is attached to a door for closing it, a cover including a latch opening and a latch slider which is elastically supported due to the insert of the latch, a locker which restricts the latch slider, a slider which moves the locker up and down, a solenoid which pushes a push cam in accordance with control signal to rotate a rotation cam so that the slider is moved left and right, a housing including the locker, the solenoid and a contact point part in which electric signal is inputted, a locker withdrawal part which forcibly withdraws the protruded locker by the operation of a torsion spring which is elastically supported, thereby separating a movable plate from a fixed plate upon abnormal withdrawal of the latch. According to the doorlock device of the present invention, the push cam operated by the solenoid causes the eccentric part of the rotation part to move the locker vertically, thus resulting in the latch slider being held or released by the locker. This bring about an effect that the structure of the doorlock device can be simplified, so that it becomes easier and cheaper to manufacture the doorlock device. Further, it is possible to provide a doorlock device whose operation credibility is improved. Still further, it is possible to provide a doorlock device which stops the operation of the electric home appliance when the latch is withdrawn abnormally. | 05-13-2010 |

20140239290 | THIN-FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME - The TFT substrate includes a gate electrode disposed on an insulating substrate; a gate insulating layer disposed on the gate electrode; a source/drain electrode disposed on the gate insulating layer; and an oxide semiconductor layer disposed between the gate insulating layer and the source/drain electrode. The oxide semiconductor layer includes a first portion that does not contact the source/drain electrode and in which a channel region is defined and a second portion in which a contact region that contacts the source/drain electrode is defined. The second portion includes a first oxide semiconductor layer and a second oxide semiconductor layer disposed on the first oxide semiconductor layer. | 08-28-2014 |
20150243793 | THIN FILM TRANSISTOR AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME - A thin film transistor includes a gate electrode, a gate insulating layer, an oxide semiconductor layer, an oxide buffer layer, a protective layer, and source and drain electrodes. The gate electrode is formed on a substrate. The gate insulating layer is formed on the substrate. The oxide semiconductor layer is formed on the gate insulating layer and includes a source, a channel and a drain region. The oxide buffer layer is formed on the oxide semiconductor layer, and has a carrier concentration lower than that of the oxide semiconductor layer. The protective layer is formed on the oxide buffer layer and the gate insulating layer, and has contact holes formed therein so that the oxide buffer layer in the source and drain regions are exposed therethrough. The source and drain electrodes are coupled with the oxide buffer layer in the source and drain regions through the contact holes. | 08-27-2015 |
