20090125486Multi-Tier Employment Model for Human Capital Management - A three-tier employment model provides flexibility when modeling even moderately complex relationships, such as where an employee has multiple job tasks or assignments for an employer. In such an example, a top level can store information for each employee defining the type of relationship that exists between the employee and the employer, such as where the employee works for multiple entities of the employer. A middle level can capture employment terms and conditions that are associated with the relationship(s), as well as one or many work assignments, such as salary information for each assignment. A bottom level can store the actual details of the work to be performed. A three-tier approach thus provides significant flexibility in modeling the employment of a person for an enterprise, and allows companies and enterprises to easily record the reality of their complex work relationships.05-14-2009

20100261495Distributed hole recovery process using connectivity information - A distributed coverage hole recovery process using connectivity information is proposed for wireless sensor networks and other wireless networks. A link is said to exist between two nodes which are sufficiently close. After a un-triangulated hole is detected enclosing by links between N (N>3) active boundary nodes, the distributed hole recovery process activates one or two redundant nodes to recover the hole at each iteration. This process is performed iteratively by each of the active boundary nodes adjacent to the hole independently without any central controller. It requires 2 hops connectivity or neighbor information from each boundary node adjacent to the hole. After each hole recovery iteration, the hole is reduced in size or split into two smaller holes. Then the hole recovery process repeats until the hole is recovered or detected as unrecoverable.10-14-2010

20120185824MECHANISM FOR DYNAMICALLY RESOLVING POLYMORPHIC TYPE DEPENDENCIES BETWEEN PARALLEL HETEROGENOUS RUN-TIME ENVIRONMENTS - A mechanism for dynamically resolving polymorphic type dependencies between parallel heterogenous run-time environments is provided. The mechanism comprises a registry of class types for software objects, in which each class type is linked to a hierarchy of bindings rooted at the binding for that class type with descendent bindings in the hierarchy relating to more specific sub-classes. At run-time a pointer to an object is received, and the received static type of that pointer can be looked up in the registry to determine the location in the hierarchy of bindings at which to make an initial query for the most specific sub-class compatible with the dynamic type of the object. Subsequently, beginning at the determined location in the hierarchy of bindings, the most specific sub-class compatible with the dynamic type of the object is determined, and a run-time binding based on the most specific sub-class identified can be selected. 07-19-2012

20130266530METHOD OF COLOURING HAIR FIBRES - Hair colourant formulations fall into three main categories designated permanent, semi-permanent and temporary. Permanent hair colourant formulations are oxidative dye systems and generally contain paraphenylene diamine (PPD) and resorcinol, both of which have been shown to cause sensitisation and mutagenicity. Furthermore, severe oxidising conditions are required which in themselves cause skin irritation and sensitization as well as hair fibre damage. The inventive method addresses the aforementioned disadvantages by providing a method of colouring hair fibres, the method comprising the step of applying a hair colour composition, the hair colour composition comprising: (a) (+)-Catechin, (−)-catechin, (+)-epicatechin, (−)-epicatechin or mixtures thereof; (b) A hydrogen peroxide generator or hydrogen peroxide; and (c) A peroxidase and; wherein the composition has a pH of 4.5 to 7.0, preferably less than or equal to 6.0.10-10-2013
20140057843COMPOSITIONS FOR DIETARY HEALTH MANAGEMENT - This invention relates to a plurality of compositions for dietary health management and its use in the prevention or treatment of any one of the disease states in the group consisting of cardiovascular disease, inflammation and diarrhoea. Human evolution has been a very slow process in contrast to the relatively recent, rapid changes in our diet since the Neolithic revolution which marked the switch from hunter-gatherer to agricultural life-style around 10,000 years ago. Moreover our genome has not had time to evolve at the same pace and therefore it is postulated that our bodies will work more efficiently with an ancestral diet. In a first aspect of the invention, a plurality of compositions for the dietary health management system of a human being is provided, wherein the plurality of compositions comprise a daily diet of: (g) 1750 to 2750 kilocalories (7350 to 11550 kiloJoules); (h) have more than 1250, preferably more than 1450, more preferably more than 1650 mg gallic acid equivalents of polyphenols; (i) have more than 40, preferably more than 50, more preferably more than 60 g fibre; (j) have more than 130, preferably more than 150, more preferably more than 170 g protein (k) have 0 to 2, preferably 0 to 1.5, most preferably 0 to 1 g starch; and (I) have 0 to 5, preferably 0 to 2.5, most preferably 0 to 1 g lactose.02-27-2014
