20130343490 | Synchronizing Receivers in a Signal Acquisition System - A system and method for synchronizing a plurality of receivers. A tone from a signal generator is swept over a frequency band. A power splitter splits the tone into a plurality of resultant tones that are supplied to the respective receivers. For each receiver, a relative frequency response (including amplitude and phase responses) is measured between the receiver and a master receiver. A linear approximation to the phase response is computed. A digital filter is custom designed for the receiver to compensate for non-uniformity of the amplitude response and for deviations of the phase from the linear approximation. After applying the digital filter, further adjustments are made to remove the time delay corresponding to the linear approximation, e.g., by appropriately configuring a fractional resampler, by adjusting a numerically-controlled oscillator, and/or, by adjusting sample clock phase. | 12-26-2013 |

20140102132 | MODULAR CO2 REFRIGERATION SYSTEM - A cascade CO2 refrigeration system includes a medium temperature loop for circulating a medium refrigerant and a low temperature loop for circulating a CO2 refrigerant. The medium temperature loop includes a heat exchanger having a first side and a second side. The first side evaporates the medium temperature refrigerant. The low temperature loop includes a discharge header for circulating the CO2 refrigerant through the second side of the heat exchanger to condense the CO2 refrigerant, a liquid-vapor separator collects liquid CO2 refrigerant and directs vapor CO2 refrigerant to the second side of the heat exchanger. A liquid CO2 supply header receives liquid CO2 refrigerant from the liquid-vapor separator. Medium temperature loads receive liquid CO2 refrigerant from the liquid supply header for use as a liquid coolant at a medium temperature. An expansion device expands liquid CO2 refrigerant from the liquid supply header into a low temperature liquid-vapor mixture for use by the low temperature loads. | 04-17-2014 |
20140352343 | CO2 REFRIGERATION SYSTEM WITH HOT GAS DEFROST - A C02 refrigeration system has an LT system with LT compressors and LT evaporators, and an MT system with MT compressors and MT evaporators, operating in a refrigeration mode and a defrost mode using C02 hot gas discharge from the MT and/or the LT compressors to defrost the LT evaporators. A C02 refrigerant circuit directs C02 refrigerant through the system and has an LT compressor discharge line with a hot gas discharge valve, a C02 hot gas defrost supply header directing C02 hot gas discharge from the LT and/or the MT compressors to the LT evaporators, a flash tank supplying C02 refrigerant to the MT and LT evaporators during the refrigeration mode, and receiving the C02 hot gas discharge from the LT evaporators during the defrost mode, and a control system directing the C02 hot gas discharge through the LT evaporators and to the flash tank during the defrost mode. | 12-04-2014 |

20110195711 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING ROAMING OF A MOBILE EQUIPMENT - The present invention relates to a method for managing roaming of a mobile equipment of a subscriber, when the mobile equipment is roaming. The method comprises the steps: to store a first list customized for each subscriber, the first list comprises information regarding the visited countries, number of times a certain country have been visited, and for how long time the country have been visited; to store a second list customized for each subscriber, the second list comprises information about preferred operators for a part of the countries on the first list; to receive a roaming signal from the Home Location Register when the mobile equipment is roaming into another network or monitor a roaming signal intended for the Home Location Register; in response to the roaming signal, to update the first list; if the first list has changed above a predetermined threshold value, to update the second list; and to send the updated second list to the mobile equipment. | 08-11-2011 |
