20080252014 | Game and method for teaching - A game for teaching reading includes a deck of cards having matching pairs of cards that rhyme with one another. Four cards are dealt to each player to create a hand of cards for each player. The remaining cards are placed in a “draw” pile. Players check for matches and discard them. A first player looks at the cards in his hand and asks a second player if the second players hand consists of one of the cards in the first player's hand. If the second player has the card, she passes it to the first player who makes a pair and discards them into a discard pile. Otherwise, the first player draws an additional card from the “draw” pile of cards. Play continues when the second player asks another player for a card that matches one of the cards in her hand. | 10-16-2008 |

20130178893 | METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TENSILE COLONOSCOPY COMPRESSION - A method and apparatus for applying pressure to the abdomen of a patient to facilitate the insertion of a colonoscope is characterized by the use of a tensile compression device in the form of an elastic band which is wrapped around the patient's abdomen and secured in place. The tension of the band is adjusted to apply a desired degree of pressure to the patient's abdomen to reduce loops in the patient's colon so that the colonoscope can be fully inserted into the colon with minimal discomfort to the patient. The ends of the device are connected together when the desired degree of tension is obtained so that constant pressure and support are provided to the patient's colon. Addition pressure can be manually applied simultaneously with the pressure from the tensile device to reduce or eliminate more distal loops in the colon. | 07-11-2013 |

20140316812 | Patient Intake E-Registration - Disclosed is a method of streamlining the intake registration of a patient at a healthcare provider facility. A secure, online database is provided via web-based interface portal for a patient to enter and store the patient's private health information (PHI) data. A unique readable scanning code, such as a QR code, is assigned to the patient's stored data. The scanning code is placed on items that may be carried by the patient, such as, wallet-sized cards, pendants, stickers, or via display on the patient's mobile devices or PC devices. The healthcare provider facility is provided with a scanner to read the QR code. The patient controls access to the PHI data via levels of security set by the patient. Upon entering the healthcare provider facility, the patient's QR code is scanned, and the permitted level(s) of PHI data are automatically populated into the facility's electronic health record system(s). | 10-23-2014 |

20090276526 | Access Control List Endpoint Implementation - A method, system, and computer program product for providing direct communications between FCoE endpoint devices within the same fibre channel network zone. A direct fibre channel (DFC) utility provides an FCoE stack with an exclusive ability to define an Ethertype within an ethertype field of an Ethernet packet with “FCoE”. In addition, the DFC utility enables storage of access control lists (ACLs) containing allowed destination addresses and allowed source addresses within the adapter of an FCoE endpoint. Additionally, the DFC utility initiates an exchange of messages with an Ethernet switch to determine a feasibility of establishing direct connections between endpoints. In particular, the DFC utility determines whether the Ethernet switch supports FCoE ACL checking. Further, the DFC utility creates a zone ID for the FCoE endpoint device. The DFC utility allows direct communication between FCoE endpoints within the same fibre zone. | 11-05-2009 |
