20110102056 | METHOD FOR SWITCHING WITHOUT ANY INTERRUPTION BETWEEN WINDING TAPS ON A TAP-CHANGING TRANSFORMER - The invention relates to a method for switching without any interruption between two winding taps (tap n, tap n+1) of a tap-changing transformer, wherein each of the two winding taps is connected to the common load output line via in each case one mechanical switch (Ds) and a series circuit, arranged in series thereto, comprising two IGBTs (Ip, In) which are switched in opposite directions. | 05-05-2011 |
20110133817 | TAP SWITCH WITH SEMICONDUCTOR SWITCHING ELEMENTS - The invention relates to a tap switch for uninterrupted changeover between two winding taps (tap n, tap n+1) of a tapped transformer, wherein each of the two winding taps is connected to the common outgoing load line via in each case a mechanical switch (Ds) and a series circuit which is arranged in series therewith and which is composed of two oppositely connected IGBTs (Ip, In). According to the invention, each IGBT is bridged by in each case a specially dimensioned varistor (Vp, Vn) connected in parallel therewith. | 06-09-2011 |
20120025789 | ON-LOAD TAP CHANGER COMPRISING SEMICONDUCTOR SWITCHING ELEMENTS - The invention relates to an on-load tap changer comprising semiconductor switching elements for uninterrupted switching between winding taps of a tapped transformer. According to the invention, contact bars are provided which extend in the direction of the path of the fixed tap contacts and can be contacted using contact bridges that can be jointly moved by a contact slide in such a way that direct electrical connections to the charge diverter and electrical connections to the inputs and the output of the semiconductor switching elements can be established. | 02-02-2012 |
20120032654 | ON-LOAD TAP CHANGER COMPRISING SEMICONDUCTOR SWITCHING ELEMENTS - The invention relates to an on-load tap changer comprising semiconductor switching elements for uninterrupted switching between fixed tap changer contacts which are electrically connected to winding taps of a tapped transformer. Each of the fixed tap changer contacts can be connected to a charge diverter either directly or, during switching, via the semiconductor switching elements that are connected therebetween. According to the invention, the charge diverter has fixed, divided diverting contact pieces in order for the semiconductor switching elements to be electrically isolated from the transformer winding during stationary operation. | 02-09-2012 |

20090162161 | SPINDLE UNIT COMPRISING A WORKING SPINDLE THAT CAN BE REPOSITIONED WHEN IN OPERATION - A spindle unit has a working spindle, which is mounted, so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis, in its own bearing housing and in which there is provided a receiver for tools for machining workpieces. Via a repositioning unit, the working spindle is repositioned automatically and controllably in relation to the bearing housing when in operation (FIG. | 06-25-2009 |
20110068544 | MACHINE TOOL, IN PARTICULAR FOR RIM MACHINING - The present invention relates to a machine tool for machining of workpieces, having a workpiece support for mounting the workpiece, a tool holder, which can be moved at least along one axis, for holding a tool for machining the workpiece, and workpiece holding units for fixing the workpiece during the machining, the workpiece holding units being arranged outside the workpiece support surface of the workpiece support, which is covered by the workpiece in the mounted state, and each having a holding element for fixing the workpiece. In order that also workpieces of greater diameter can be machined, the machine tool otherwise being of the same dimensions, it is provided according to the invention that the holding elements can each be moved, substantially parallel to the workpiece support surface, in the direction of the workpiece, in particular in the direction of a central workpiece axis, which runs perpendicular to the workpiece support surface, for the purpose of centering and fixing the workpiece. The holding elements comprise a clamping surface that is arranged obliquely in relation to the workpiece support surface and that is, in the mounted state, pressed against the workpiece for fixing and centering the workpiece to be machined, thereby exerting a pressure both in the direction of the workpiece support surface and in the direction of the central workpiece axis. | 03-24-2011 |

20090066032 | SLIDING RING SEAL - Device for sealing components which rotate at relatively high speeds, in particular construction machine axles, comprising a sliding ring seal which is formed from a sliding ring and a mating ring, in particular a running gear seal, wherein the sliding and mating rings have a sliding face which faces a rotating component, one of the rings is provided in the installed state on one side within a ring receptacle and on the other side in the region of the rotating component in a manner which is fixed in terms of rotation, and the other ring is arranged in a sealed form with respect to a surrounding stationary component. | 03-12-2009 |
20110094632 | LEDEBURITE CAST IRON WITH A HIGH CARBIDE CONTENT AND AN EVENLY DISTRIBUTED GRAPHITE EMBODIMENT - Disclosed is a cast iron material, especially a ledeburite cast iron material which has a high carbide content of at least 15.0 percent by weight and is provided with a characteristic, free, evenly distributed graphite embodiment that can comprise flake graphite and/or vermicular graphite and/or nodular graphite. The basic matrix can be embodied in a pearlitic and/or bainitic and/or martensitic manner according to the application thereof (diameter (D) of the seal of the running gear, peripheral velocity). The thermal conductivity of the inventive material is three to four times greater than that of white cast materials as a result of the high graphite content, thus advantageously preventing seals of running gears from fretting in case of great peripheral velocities (>5 m/s) and large diameters (D>600 mm) of the seals. Additionally, the high carbide content of at least 15 percent by weight provides for good resistance to wear while additional alloying elements such as chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, and nickel provide the material with adequate resistance to corrosion. The disclosed ledeburite cast iron material featuring an evenly distributed graphite embodiment can be used for producing axial face seals and cylinder hushes, for example. | 04-28-2011 |
