20110273829 | Non-Volatile Memory Controller Cable Arrangement - A cable solution which enables a flash controller which is located on a motherboard of an information processing system to be coupled with a memory socket which is located within a passive socket panel. In certain embodiments, a cable and header arrangement is provided for connecting the motherboard to the chassis socket panel card. This arrangement allows the front panel card to be simplified (i.e., to be a passive card). In certain embodiments, the solution uses a cable structure such as that used for integrated drive electronics (IDE) type disk drive cables or an ultra AT attachment (U-ATA) type cable. The cable solution provides a low cost solution which offers multiple performance options for a single cost. For example, the cable solution functions with both a standard memory card socket as well as a high speed memory card. Also, in certain embodiments, the header connections include ground signal paths interposed among the data signal paths. The board header connectors are the same for both the standard and high speed socket configurations, only the cable changes between the standard and high speed configurations. | 11-10-2011 |

20150100110 | Controlled Stimulation Delivery from Neurostimulator - A system for providing neurostimulation includes an external device (“external exciter”) and an implanted device. The external exciter includes an energy source which inductively powers the implanted device. Examples of such external exciters include devices having at least one of: ultrasonic transducers, Radio Frequency (RF) transmitters, and solar cells. The implanted device includes circuitry that limits its maximum energy output to a predetermined saturation threshold such that excess stimulation from the external exciter does not raise the output of the implanted device beyond the saturation threshold. The output signal of the external exciter is then pulse-width modulated in order to produce a desired amount of output stimulation from the implanted device to stimulate the bioelectrically excitable tissue at a desired level. | 04-09-2015 |
20150112233 | Apparatus, System and Method for Neurostimulation by High Frequency Ultrasound - An apparatus, system, and method for neurostimulation by high frequency ultrasound. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a pulse generator, an ultrasound transducer coupled to the pulse generator, and an implantable stimulator. The implantable stimulator may include a piezoelectric element configured to convert ultrasound signals from the ultrasound transducer into electrical signals, a rectifier configured to convert alternating current from the piezoelectric element to a monophasic current, a capacitor coupled to the rectifier, and a first electrode and a second electrode coupled to the rectifier and capacitor and configured to transmit the monophasic current to body tissue. In addition, the apparatus may include a current-limiting circuit configured to limit the amount of current transmitted to the body tissue. | 04-23-2015 |

20110209764 | Apparatus and Methods for Delivery of Fluid Injection Boluses to Patients and Handling Harmful Fluids - A hazardous fluid transport container and a hazardous fluid delivery system are disclosed. The hazardous fluid transport container includes a housing enclosing an at least partially shielded enclosure. First and second fluid path elements are disposed within the housing, with the first fluid path element and second fluid path element fluidly coupled together. A pump unit may be provided for dispensing fluid from the first and second fluid path elements optionally into a third fluid path element. Also, methods for priming the hazardous fluid transport container and for mitigating laminar flow injection bolus spreading are disclosed. Additionally, disclosed is a radioactive fluid transport container for a syringe or other container. The radioactive fluid transport container allows the syringe or container to be used in an injection procedure without removal from the container. | 09-01-2011 |

20120317787 | MODULAR NUT PLATES WITH CLOSED NUT ASSEMBLIES - A nut plate assembly includes a nut retainer and a bushing for expanding a tubular body of the retainer. The retainer assembly is used to cold work an opening of a workpiece in order to fix the nut retainer assembly relative to the workpiece. A nut can be snapped into the retainer. A method of installation includes passing a mandrel through the bushing to radially expand the bushing into a tubular body of the retainer. The tubular body is compressed between the workpiece and bushing as the bushing is displaced radially causing corresponding radial displacement of the tubular body. The expanded bushing applies pressure to the tubular body for a desired fit between the nut retainer and workpiece. | 12-20-2012 |
20130192331 | INSTALLATION/PROCESSING SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND COMPONENTS - A processing tool to process workpieces, for example cold working holes and/or installing expandable members into holes includes an expansion assembly with a plurality of elongated expansion segments. A first band and a second band couple the expansion segments into an array with the expansion segments circumferentially distributed about a longitudinal axis, with a passageway extending between the arrayed segments. The processing tool may include a tuning assembly that allows a radial expansion amount of the expansion assembly to be adjusted without altering a stroke length of a drive member of the processing tool. Sensors may sense various aspects of the processing performed by the processing tool to enable analysis and storage of information regarding performance of the process and/or materials processed by the processing tool. | 08-01-2013 |
