20090048169 | Identification of Crmp4 as a Convergent Regulator of Axon Outgrowth Inhibition - The present invention relates to the identification of the cytosolic phosphoprotein CRMP4b as a protein that physically and functionally interacts with RhoA to mediate neurite outgrowth inhibition. siRNA-mediated knockdown of CRMP4 promotes neurite outgrowth on myelin substrates indicating a critical role for CRMP4 in neurite outgrowth inhibition. Disruption of CRMP4b-RhoA binding with a competitive inhibitor attenuates neurite outgrowth inhibition on myelin and aggrecan substrates. Stimulation of neuronal growth cones with Nogo leads to co-localization of CRMP4b and RhoA at discrete regions within the actin-rich central and peripheral domains of the growth cone indicative of a potential function in cytoskeletal rearrangements during neurite outgrowth inhibition. Together these data indicate that a RhoA-CRMP4b complex forms in response to inhibitory challenges in the growth cone environment and regulate cytoskeletal dynamics at distinct sites necessary for axon outgrowth inhibition. Competitive inhibition of CRMP4b-RhoA binding suggests a novel, highly specific therapeutic avenue for promoting regeneration following CNS injury. | 02-19-2009 |

20090177420 | Detection, localization and interpretation of partial discharge - In order to detect, localize and interpret a partial discharge occurring in a partial discharge site along an electrical equipment, two measurement probes and a synchronization probe are installed along the electrical equipment. The measurement probes detect pulses travelling in the electrical equipment while the synchronization probe detects a phase angle in the electrical equipment and is usable for calibration purposes. A control unit receives the signals sensed by the probes and conditions them. Digital processings applied on the conditioned signals, involving their correlation, a time-frequency distribution and a form factor estimation, allows establishing a diagnosis indicating a detection of a partial discharge and its localization along the electrical equipment. | 07-09-2009 |

20150290805 | Vision-Assisted System and Method for Picking of Rubber Bales in a Bin - The problem of picking tightly-pack generally uniformed products such as rubber bales in a bin is solved by sequentially selecting each one of the products based on the products depths in the bin, using a robot with a tool to grip each selected product, and moving on an output station each gripped product considering its position relative to the gripping tool. A first sensor system is used to determine the product depths in the bin. The sensor system can be mounted on the robot tool or be positioned above the bin. The position of each gripped product in the gripping tool is achieved by analyzing an image of the gripped product in the gripping tool. | 10-15-2015 |
