20120081395 | DESIGNING AND BUILDING VIRTUAL IMAGES USING SEMANTICALLY RICH COMPOSABLE SOFTWARE IMAGE BUNDLES - A virtual image is created by receiving a selection of at least one composable software bundle. The at least one composable software bundle includes a first set of metadata and a first set of artifacts comprising a first set of executable instructions associated with a first set of operations. A virtual image asset is selected and received. The virtual image asset includes one or more virtual image disks, a second set of metadata, and a second set of artifacts including a second set of executable instructions associated with a second set of operations. A new virtual image asset is created based on the at least one composable software bundle and the virtual image asset. The new virtual image asset includes a third set of metadata that is based on the first set of metadata and the second set of metadata. | 04-05-2012 |
20140235231 | SYSTEM OF EDGE BYTE CACHING FOR CELLULAR NETWORKS - The present invention is a method and system that reduces the amount of data traffic across communication links in a cellular network. In this system, the cellular device of a user receives and stores state information about a byte of data. During the implementation of the method of this invention, when a user desires to retrieve dam from the Network Core, tokens containing a description of the state information for the requested data are sent to the cellular device. The cellular device can then have these tokens resolved by a Node B cell site that has stored the requested data. This approach reduces the need to resend the data from the Network Core over communications links. Further, the cellular devices can freely move from cell site to cell site with little interruption or loss of information. | 08-21-2014 |

20090006596 | Dynamic address redemption and routing in ZigBee networks - Dynamic address redemption and reallocation is performed in a ZigBee network. When a router node attempts to join a parent with no available address space, the parent requests available address space from child router nodes and possibly from the entire network. If available address space can be found, it is redeemed and reallocated to the router node wishing to join the network. A lookup table may be maintained at all nodes to track changes in address allocation. | 01-01-2009 |

20120195311 | MULTICAST DUAL JOIN FOR RING NETWORK TOPOLOGIES - A network node includes a primary incoming interface, a secondary incoming interface and a data flow control unit. The primary incoming interface is operable to receive traffic associated with a particular source and multicast group. The secondary incoming interface is operable to serve as a backup interface if the primary incoming interface or a transmission path coupled to the primary incoming interface is inoperative. The data flow control unit is operable to determine whether the network node is part of a ring topology and if so, forward traffic received on the primary incoming interface associated with the source and multicast group to both a host which joined the multicast group and the secondary incoming interface and forward traffic received on the secondary incoming interface associated with the source and multicast group to the primary incoming interface. | 08-02-2012 |
