20140244224 | RAPID ASSESSMENT OF SUSPENSION GEOMETRY FOR LOADS - A model of a vehicle suspension includes an indication of a suspension type. A plurality of suspension hard points for modeling output loads are selected. An input point in the suspension is defined, including input loads at the input point. A set of equations is created using the input loads and the selected hard points, each equation representing a load in one of an X, Y, and Z direction in a three-dimensional coordinate system. At least one constraint equation is added to the set of equations. The equations are solved to determine output loads for each of the selected hard points. | 08-28-2014 |

20130318071 | Apparatus and Method for Recognizing Content Using Audio Signal - The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for recognizing content using an audio signal. The content recognition apparatus includes a query fingerprint extraction unit for forming frames having a preset frame length for an audio signal, and generating frame-based feature vectors for respective frames, thus extracting a query fingerprint. A reference fingerprint DB stores reference fingerprints to be compared with the query fingerprint and pieces of content information corresponding to the reference fingerprints. A fingerprint matching unit determines a reference fingerprint matching the query fingerprint. In this case, the query fingerprint extraction unit forms the frames while varying a frame shift size that is an interval between start points of neighboring frames in a partial section. According to the present invention, there can be provided a content recognition apparatus and method which can maintain the accuracy and reliability of matching while promptly providing results. | 11-28-2013 |

20130182835 | System and Method of Intelligent Call Routing for Cross Sell Offer Selection based on Optimization Parameters or Account-level Data - An apparatus and methods for a call routing system is disclosed whereby the call routing service provider is associated with a series of partners. By providing a system supporting not only the main user, but also the partners, efficiencies are gained through cost-spreading. Agents can be qualified to field calls for multiple business entities. Cross-selling and proactive servicing based on caller demographic and profile data can be effectuated. The system employs a centralized or global bank of shared Interactive Voice Response (IVR) units so that unnecessary post-routing and call site interflow are reduced. The system comprises a central server system that interfaces with a long distance provider so that route requests are received, caller data is retrieved from one or more databases, routing and handling strategies are developed, load balancing is effectuated, and calls are appropriately routed to one of a plurality of geographically separated call center systems with queues staffed by agents. Each call center system is designed to support various queues, and agents may be qualified or assigned to various queues based on their skill sets and skill levels. | 07-18-2013 |

20140305493 | FLEXIBLE MODULE CONNECTORS OF FLEXIBLE PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES - Provided are flexible photovoltaic modules having flexible module connectors that allow their connector bodies to move with respect to other parts of the modules in one or more directions. This flexibility may be used to align connector bodies during installation. Further, flexibility may help to overcome the thermal expansion differences of various modules and supporting structure components during operation. Flexible arms may be used to support connector bodies with respect to module sealing sheets to provide the necessary flexibility. Such modules may also include various touch safety features to keep conductive elements of the module connectors disconnected from the photovoltaic cells prior to installation of the module and during initial installation operations. Also provided are flexible photovoltaic assemblies, each including multiple modules electrically interconnected with each other and sealed at their interfaces. An assembly may be reconfigured in the field to remove one or more modules from the assembly. | 10-16-2014 |
20140305494 | HEADER STRUCTURES FOR FLEXIBLE PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES - Provided are flexible photovoltaic modules having header structures for protecting, reinforcing, and sealing edges formed by sealing sheets of the modules. A flexible module may include one or more header structures. In certain embodiments, two header structures are provided on the same edge or two opposite edges of the module. A header structure may enclose a portion of the edge or the entire edge. A header structure may be a sleeve enclosing an edge formed by two sealing sheets. In other embodiment, in which an edge is formed by only one shorter sealing sheet, a header structure may extend over this edge. A header structure may enclose one or more electrical leads protruding from a sealed space formed by the sealing sheets. These electrical leads may be connected to conductive elements provided within the header structure and used for establishing electrical connections to other components of the photovoltaic array. | 10-16-2014 |

20110097705 | Surface-assisted hemagglutination and hemagglutination inhibition assays - Hemagglutination (HA) and hemagglutination inhibition (HAI) functional assays remain important instruments of analysis of virus-cell interaction and protecting efficacy of virus-specific antibodies and sera. However, they demonstrate limited sensitivity towards many viruses, and require significant volumes of viruses, erythrocytes, sera, and antibodies. The present invention comprises new and significantly more sensitive versions of the HA and HAI assays based on observing agglutination on activated surfaces of specifically opsonized plates and ELISA plates rather than in solution. A version of the new assay that uses ELISA plates additionally allows characterizing the affinity of functional antibodies in the tested sera and fluids, which is not possible in the classical HAI assay. The methods of the present invention can also be used to improve the sensitivity of agglutination methods based on latex beads and to develop agglutination methods using target cells other than erythrocytes. | 04-28-2011 |
