20090203257 | Coaxial connector - A subminiature coaxial connector including a matched impedance plug and jack for coupling printed circuit boards, RF modules, coaxial cables, and the like, and minimizing RF or microwave signal losses and/or degradations. The plug and jack each comprises a coaxial structure including an outer tubular conductor and a center contact held in place by a dielectric sleeve within the outer tubular conductor. The geometries of these elements are such that when the plug and jack are fully joined, the elements are coextensive and butt-mated, without steps, gaps, or other discontinuities. By combining structural functions into the electrical conductors, the present invention allows for fewer parts and shorter mating distances than is available in the prior art. Despite the small Size 20 connectors that are achievable with the present invention, low voltage standing wave ratios (VSWR's) can still be observed through 67 GHz, with theoretical cutoff frequencies in excess of 100 GHz. | 08-13-2009 |

20140342581 | VERTICAL MOUNT PCB COAXIAL CONNECTOR - A vertical mount PCB coax connector having a unique cavity design. The examples provide a vertical mounted connector with improved electrical performance to transmit a microwave signal to or from a coaxial port to planar printed circuitry. The vertical mount PCB connector includes a threaded housing with a four post flange for attachment to the PCB, a center conductor and a dielectric bead to support the center conductor. The bottom of the flange has a uniquely contoured cavity to provide air space for the electromagnetic field above the planar transmission line. Four posts at the corners of the flange serve as the ground connection from the connector to the substrate ground planes. The open or large cavity under the flange is designed to provide high values of inductive reactance at the high end of the microwave band and typically requires changing the planar geometry to achieve even a narrow band impedance match. This examples described have a reduced diameter cavity around the center conductor which, along with properly positioned via's on the PCB, tend to limit the inductive reactance and provide a broad band impedance match. This connector design can accommodate both stripline and grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW). | 11-20-2014 |

20090041013 | Dynamically Assigning A Policy For A Communication Session - In one embodiment, assigning a policy to a communication session includes facilitating the communication session for an endpoint. Policy data is determined from one or more messages communicated subsequent to communication of a request message requesting a service for the endpoint. A policy is assigned to the communication session in accordance with the policy data. | 02-12-2009 |
20090132401 | Generating a Single Advice of Charge Request for Multiple Sessions in a Network Environment - In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a selected communication session of a transaction associated with a prepaid end user, such that the transaction comprises a plurality of communication sessions. The method includes associating the selected communication session with the transaction and extracting data from the selected communication session associated with the transaction. The method includes generating a single advice of charge request for the transaction before the selected communication session is completed, the single advice of charge request comprising the extracted data from the selected communication session associated with the transaction. | 05-21-2009 |
20090138295 | Generating a Single Billing Record for Multiple Sessions in a Network Environment - In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a plurality of communication sessions of a transaction associated with a postpaid end user. The method includes associating the plurality of communication sessions with the transaction and extracting data from the plurality of communication sessions associated with the transaction. The method includes generating a single billing record after the transaction is completed, the single billing record comprising the extracted data from the plurality of communication sessions associated with the transaction. | 05-28-2009 |

20110303661 | STORAGE MODULE ADAPTER ASSEMBLY FOR MODULAR CONTAINER - A storage module adapter assembly includes adapter base plates that are two-person portable, can be installed/removed by hand, and cooperate with existing structures of existing modular cargo containers. Each adapter base plate includes various longitudinal and transverse frame members, as well as first and second longitudinal frame members on opposed sides thereof. The first longitudinal frame member has a first height, and the second longitudinal frame member has a second height, which is greater than the first height. Each of the first and second longitudinal frame members also include generally horizontal flange members extending from a top side thereof, such that when two adapter base plates are appropriately positioned side by side, the generally horizontal flange members on the adjacent sides of the two adapter base plates overlap due to the difference between the first and second heights. The adapter base plates can then be connected together by appropriate mechanisms. | 12-15-2011 |
