For each period, the multiple bits of binary data are encoded into multiple scalar values, each value representing a level of an analog signal to be output over a multi-mode interconnect system during the current period. Multiple analog signal outputs are generated corresponding to multiple scalar values, each signal output being driven to a level according to its corresponding scalar value. For each representative scalar value, a difference between the scalar value generated during the current period and the scalar value generated during the previous period is determined, and a pre-emphasis signal that is proportional to the difference is generated. Pre-emphasize each analog signal output according to the respective pre-emphasis signal, where the analog signal is pre-emphasized for a fraction of a period that is less than the entire period.12-22-2011

20080217797Simple micro concave mirror - A novel A SIMPLE FIBER OPTIC MICRO CONCAVE MIRROR has been recognized. This mirror is formed by making a precision micro lens in a material deposited on the end of an optical fiber held in a suitable fiber ferrule. Multiple dielectric layers are applied on the lens to achieve the final, desired optical characteristic of the mirror. The concave mirror is precisely aligned to the core of the fiber. The concave lens is fabricated on the end of the fiber by making an indentation of correct geometry and smoothness.09-11-2008
20090031832Inner-forcer milli-hemispherical resonator gyro - The Inner-Forcer milli-Hemispherical Resonator Gyro (mHRG) is a small, low cost, high performance gyroscope. It may have an extremely simplified design, with in one embodiment of the present method and apparatus only five major parts total, with most parts filling multiple functions. The method and apparatus in one embodiment may have: a resonator; and a body operatively coupled to the resonator, the unitary body integrally having electrodes, an electrode support unit, a weld ring and a plurality of electrically conductive pins, the plurality of electrodes operatively coupled to the electrically conductive pins.02-05-2009
