20150012098 | METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR IMPLANTING AN INTERBODY DEVICE - An interbody implant comprises one or more elongate members that have superior and inferior surfaces with a height, and medial and lateral surfaces having a width. The height is set so the implant fits into the intervertebral space. The width is less than the height. The interbody implant has a first configuration, a second configuration, and a third configuration. The interbody implant is inserted into the intervertebral space in the first configuration such that medial and lateral surfaces contact the vertebral bodies, and the interbody implant is then actuated into the second configuration such that superior and inferior surfaces engage the vertebral bodies. Actuation of the implant from the first configuration to the second configuration distracts the vertebral bodies. The implant is actuated into the third configuration where the width of the implant is greater than width of the implant in the first or the second configuration. | 01-08-2015 |
20150080973 | METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR AN INSERTION GUIDE DEVICE - A delivery instrument for placing an interbody implant into an intervertebral space of a patient comprises a plurality of elongated plates disposed adjacent one another. Each elongated plate has a proximal portion and a distal portion. The distal portion is sized and shaped to fit into the intervertebral space, and is configured to engage a vertebral body in the intervertebral space. An expandable member is coupled to the plurality of elongated plates so as to form an enclosed tube that is sized and shaped to receive the interbody implant. The expandable member allows for translation of the plurality of elongated plates relative to one another as the interbody implant passes through the tube. | 03-19-2015 |

20160095417 | BACKPACK WITH STABILIZING HANDLES - Disclosed is a backpack having a plurality of stabilizing handles. The handles are of fixed dimension and are distributed around the outside of a main compartment of the backpack to provide a number of places for a caregiver to grip when assisting a wearer of the backpack walk. A rear side of the main compartment may have a four handles, a front side of the backpack may have 6 handles, and side panels of the backpack may have 4 handles. A lead may optionally be attached to the D-ring on the rear side of the backpack. Providing numerous grip handles around the backpack enhances the ability of the caregiver to provide spotting support, without stigmatizing the user from the use of a harness or other such assistive device. | 04-07-2016 |

20120179431 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ROOF ANALYSIS - A system and method for intelligently combining CAD, inspection, and building guideline data for intelligently setting roof facet directionality, analyzing repair and replacement decisions and estimating material and repair or replacement costs for building facets is described. One embodiment includes receiving digital building facet data for a first building facet of a set of one or more building facets; receiving digital inspection data for the first building facet; determining the amount of building material required to repair damage to an area of the first building facet; determining a repair indicator for the first building facet; wherein the determining a repair indicator is based at least in part upon the digital facet data for the first building facet and the inspection data for the first building facet; and displaying an electronic image of the set of one or more building facets. | 07-12-2012 |
20120311053 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE ANALYSIS - A system and method for intelligently combining CAD, inspection, and building guideline data for intelligently setting roof facet directionality, analyzing repair and replacement decisions and estimating material, material waste and recyclables, material recycling requirements, and repair or replacement costs for building facets is described. One embodiment includes receiving digital inspection data of a building facet of a property; receiving a first layer of geographic-based guideline data; receiving a second layer of geographic-based guideline data; reconciling a conflict between guideline data of the first and second layers of guideline data to reach a resulting guideline data item; determining a repair indicator for the building facet based at least in part on the resulting guideline data item and the digital inspection data; and sending an electronic message, wherein the electronic message includes at least a portion of the digital inspection data and the repair indicator. | 12-06-2012 |
20150073864 | Method and System for Property Damage Analysis - A system and method for combining CAD, inspection, and building guideline data for analyzing repair decisions and selecting waste containers is described. One embodiment includes receiving digital building facet data for a first building facet of a set of one or more building facets; receiving digital inspection data for the first building facet; determining an amount of building material required to repair damage to an area of the first building facet, including determining a first amount of waste building material; determining a repair indicator for the first building facet, the determining a repair indicator based at least in part upon the digital facet data for the first building facet and the inspection data for the first building facet; determining an appropriate waste container based upon the first amount of waste material; and displaying an electronic image of the set of one or more building facets. | 03-12-2015 |

20160098802 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONVERTING RESOURCE NEEDS TO SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS - A communication system and servers are disclosed. The illustrative communication system is taught to include a matching system that has an attribute translation engine and a matching engine that are capable of translating estimate attributes for a work item and contractor attributes into a common format or language, thereby enabling a comparison of the estimate attributes with contractor attributes. This comparison helps to identify qualified or non-qualified contractors to work on the job or work item associated with the estimate attributes. | 04-07-2016 |
