20150119466 | NANOSPHERE- HISTONE ACETYLTRANSFERASE (HAT) ACTIVATOR COMPOSITION, PROCESS AND METHODS THEREOF - The present invention is in relation to a composition including nanosphere and histone acetyltransferase (HAT) activator. The nanosphere is carbon nanosphere (CSP) which is intrinsically fluorescent and the HAT activator is N-(4-Chloro-3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-2-n-propoxy-benzamide. The N-(4-Chloro-3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-2-n-propoxy-benzamide is covalently conjugated with the carbon nanosphere. The present invention further relates to a process for obtaining a composition including carbon nanosphere and Histone acetyltransferase (HAT) activator [N-(4-Chloro-3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-2-n-propoxy-benzamide]. The composition is capable of crossing blood brain barrier and inducing histone acetylation in brain. Further, the composition is capable of increasing neurogenesis, as well as improving long-term memory formation. The composition manages pathological conditions to a subject in need thereof, such as aging-related, neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's in particular), neurological disorders, depression or other kinds of diseases in which increased HAT activity, neurogenesis and/or memory improvement would benefit. | 04-30-2015 |

20130174113 | FLOORPLAN ESTIMATION - The disclosed invention gives an estimation of the placement location of the units comprising a NoC within the floorplan of a chip. From that, and with knowledge of the number of wires of links within the NoC topology, an estimation of the wire density at each point is calculated. Furthermore, an estimate is made of the locations of the critical timing paths within the chip. The timing path calculation is also used to generate IO constraints for the synthesis of modules comprising different parts of the NoC. Further still, a scenario of traffic through the NoC is combined with the wire map and information about the width of links within the topology to generate an estimation of power consumption. | 07-04-2013 |
20140086246 | NETWORK ON A CHIP SOCKET PROTOCOL - The invention is a transaction interface protocol wherein the interface protocol has a transaction identifier signal in each of the request and response channels. It is used between a target network interface unit (NIU) master and an initiator NIU slave that are directly connected through a transaction interface. The target NIU response channel uses the transaction ID signal to identify the entry in a context array associated with the corresponding request. The coupling of target NIU and initiator NIU enable the formation of an on-chip interconnect comprising multiple network-on-chip (NoCs) wherein the topology of the interconnect is simpler, smaller, faster, and has lower latency. | 03-27-2014 |
20140086247 | NETWORK ON A CHIP SOCKET PROTOCOL - The invention is a transaction interface protocol wherein the interface protocol has a transaction identifier signal in each of the request and response channels.
20150019193 | VERIFICATION USING GENERIC PROTOCOL ADAPTERS - Verification IPs for the verification of semiconductor chip designs are designed to support specific interface protocols. Verification IP is expensive or unavailable to test devices with interfaces of uncommon protocols. Verification IP that uses a generic interface protocol, used in conjunction with simple adapters between interfaces of the VIP that use the generic protocol and interfaces of the device under test that use specific protocols, are reused to test interfaces with different specific protocols if the generic protocol supports a superset of the features of the specific protocols. | 01-15-2015 |

20140030538 | NOVEL IMPACT-REINFORCED ACRYLIC MATERIAL - The subject of the present invention is a semi-rigid or flexible and low-gloss impact-reinforced acrylic material. The acrylic material according to the invention comprises a nanostructured matrix constituted of at least one thermoplastic acrylic block copolymer and at least one highly crosslinked acrylic copolymer. The matrix comprises at least one thermoplastic acrylic block copolymer. The highly crosslinked acrylic copolymer comprises, as sole monomer or as predominate monomer, MMA, that is to say that it comprises, by weight, more than 50%, advantageously more than 65% of MMA. The acrylic material according to the invention comprises from 60% to 99% by weight of matrix for 40% to 1% by weight of crosslinked copolymer. These materials may be converted by injection molding, extrusion, co-extrusion, extrusion-blow molding for producing parts, profiles, sheets or films for example. | 01-30-2014 |
