20120129723 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT MULTIPLE BINDING REACTIONS IN AN ARRAY FORMAT - Provided is a method for determining one or more kinetic parameters of binding between a first binding member and a second binding member. The method includes adsorbing the first binding member to a surface at a plurality of microspots. The second binding member is then presented to the first binding member at each of the microspots, there being a plurality of combinations of first binding member surface density and second binding member concentration among the plurality of microspots. Data indicative of a binding reaction between the first of microspots are then obtained and analyzed so as to obtain one or more kinetic parameters of the binding between the first and second binding members. Also provided is a system for carrying out the method. A method for localizing a molecular species at microspots on a surface, and a probe array produced by the method are also provided. | 05-24-2012 |

20140106989 | IMAGE CAPTURE FOR LARGE ANALYTE ARRAYS - Analyte arrays such as solutes in a slab-shaped gel following electrophoresis, and particularly arrays that are in excess of 3 cm square and up to 25 cm square and higher, are imaged at distances of 5 cm or less by either forming sub-images of the entire array and stitching together the sub-images by computer-based stitching technology, or by using an array of thin-film photoresponsive elements that is coextensive with the analyte array to form a single image of the array. | 04-17-2014 |

20090268109 | Digital Projection System - A light modulation assembly and an image projector utilizing a plurality of such light modulation assemblies are disclosed. The light modulation assembly includes an optical element, a pre-polarization filter, an image modulator, and an analyzer polarization filter. The optical element has an input port for receiving a light beam. The optical element directs the light beam onto the pre-polarization filter that removes light having a linear polarization in a first direction. The light leaving the pre-polarization filter illuminates the image modulator. The light leaving the image modulator is filtered by the analyzer polarization filter to remove light having a linear polarization with a predetermined direction relative to the first direction. The light leaving the analyzer polarization filter exits the optical element through an output port. A plurality of such assemblies can be combined with a beam splitting assembly to provide an image projector. | 10-29-2009 |
