20130018719 | ANALYZING EFFECTS OF ADVERTISING - One or more systems, processes, and models are provided to determine the effectiveness of different elements of an advertising campaign. Using the one or more systems, processes, and models, advertising effectiveness metrics are determined that indicate the relative effectiveness of the different elements of the campaign. A model may be generated by the system using information about the manner in which consumers are exposed to advertisements. The information, for example, can include a history of exposures to advertisements in the campaign that occur before a user submits input, such as a survey response. In addition, the information also can include a history of exposures to advertisements in the campaign that occur after the user submits input, such as a survey response. As a result, the effectiveness can be distributed across multiple exposures experienced by consumers rather than a single exposure. | 01-17-2013 |

20130231268 | Stabilized Acid Precursor and Acid-Enzyme Formulations for Drilling Mud Cake Removal - Enzyme formulations should stay active and devoid of all possible inactivation processes during transport and long-term storage. The stabilization of enzymatic activity, especially in presence of critical functional components for specialized application, has been a long-standing obstacle when stored over an extended period of time. One such obstacle is the stability of enzyme in presence of weak acids in formulation, which is often desired to efficiently break down biopolymer filtercake embedded in a carbonate matrix, in the open-hole section of a horizontal well, for hydrocarbon production. The invention comprises methods and compositions to enhance the long-term storage stability of an enzyme formulation consisting of an in-situ acid precursor system, where in-situ generated precursors are mainly ester compounds that dissociate by slow hydrolysis to generate organic acid, shifting the pH of the formulation outside the pKa of the enzyme protein. The methods and compositions include the addition of high concentrations of metal halide salts, a pH control additive, and a water activity reducing agent. The methods and compositions of the invention provide a high degree of stability for enzyme formulation at long-term storage conditions. | 09-05-2013 |

20130064791 | Interferon Analogs - The invention relates to the field of medicine. Among others, it relates to biologically active analogs of interferons (IFNs) which show less unwanted side-effects and to the therapeutic uses thereof. Provided is an IFN analog, wherein the moiety mediating binding to its natural receptor is at least functionally disrupted and wherein the analog comprises a signaling moiety capable of mediating intracellular IFN activity, said signaling moiety being provided at its N-terminus, optionally via a linker, with at least one targeting domain capable of binding to a cell surface receptor other than the IFN receptor. | 03-14-2013 |
