20100044530 | Anti-tip anchor - The anti-tip anchor has an elongate rod that is staked into ground for stabilizing an object in an upright position on the ground. The rod has a sharp lower portion for penetration into the ground, and a bent top portion forming a handle for a user to grab during staking and unstaking procedures. A fastening plate is attached to the object. The fastening plate includes a substantially vertically disposed sleeve through which the rod is slidably disposed, the sharp end of the rod slidably engaging the ground. A rod clamp is attached to a top portion of the object. When the rod is staked into the ground, the object is stabilized and cannot move regardless of disturbances, such as high winds. To store the rod stake a user slides the rod out of the ground and places top portion of the rod into the rod clamp. | 02-25-2010 |

20140284669 | OPTOELECTRONIC INTEGRATED DEVICE INCLUDING A PHOTODETECTOR AND A MOSFET TRANSISTOR, AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS THEREOF - An optoelectronic integrated device includes a body made of semiconductor material, which is delimited by a front surface and includes a substrate having a first type of conductivity, an epitaxial region, which has the first type of conductivity and forms the front surface, and a ring region having a second type of conductivity, which extends into the epitaxial region from the front surface, and delimiting an internal region. The optoelectronic integrated device moreover includes a MOSFET including at least one body region having the second type of conductivity, which contacts the ring region and extends at least in part into the internal region from the front surface. A photodetector includes a photodetector region having the second type of conductivity, and extends into the semiconductor body starting from the front surface, contacting the ring region. | 09-25-2014 |

20100016003 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ALLOWING A USER TO OPT FOR AUTOMATIC OR SELECTIVELY SENDING OF MEDIA - The present invention is directed to a system and method which allows for the seamless integration of the sending mechanism with the media acquiring mechanism of a portable device. In this manner the end-user has instant access to media sharing with complete control over how the media is shared. This integration is accomplished by presenting to the user a series of screens that are available directly from the media creation applications (e.g. cameras or audio recorders) and media viewing applications (e.g. photo galleries or screen savers) on the device. When a photo (or other media) is captured or viewed, a series of pre-established processing options, including on-device uses for the media, internet services and accounts, email addresses and/or phone numbers to which the media can be sent are presented to the user. Some options require no further user interaction. Defaults are also available which require no user interaction at all, combining together the manual selection of certain processing options or destinations with the automatic selection of other processing options or destinations. Thus, the sending process becomes essentially a selection process allowing the user to override defaults by either selecting from choices tailored to the user including already known address information of potential recipients or to allow the media to be automatically sent to a previously identified location according to the current “default” user preferences. In the situation where a new address or phone number is desired, the user can add such information in a simple and straight-forward manner. | 01-21-2010 |

20090064138 | APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR GATHERING TRANSACTION STATISTICS DATA FOR DELIVERING TRANSACTION STATISTICS DATA AS JAVA OBJECTS VIA JMX NOTIFICATION - An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for gathering transaction statistics data for a real time transaction system that delegates data persistence of the transaction statistics data to one or more clients by utilizing a JMX notification system. Specifically, transaction statistics data is collected in real time for each transaction executed by a real time transaction system; a JMX notification is generated that includes the transaction statistics data; and an MBean server broadcasts the JMX notification object to listeners, which then capture and persist the transaction statistics data on the client side, thereby minimizing the impact of data logging on the transaction system. | 03-05-2009 |
