20110022270 | ELECTRIC POWER STEERING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME - A current command value computing section includes an integration control computing section. Based on an integration of the steering torque τ, the integration control computing section computes a steering torque integration control amount Iint*, which is a compensation component for increasing the assist force. The integration control computing section functions as a determining device that determines whether the vehicle is traveling forward in a straight line. When the determining device determines that the vehicle is traveling forward in a straight line, the integration control computing section outputs the steering torque integration control amount Iint* to an adder. The current command value computing section superimposes the steering torque integration control amount Iint* on a basic assist control amount Ias* computed by a basic assist control section, and outputs the obtained value, as a current command value Iq* corresponding to a target assist force, to an output section. | 01-27-2011 |

If the steering torque has an absolute value greater than a threshold value when the vehicle is in a straight-line traveling state, the controller sets the correction value such that the absolute value of the steering torque is reduced. If the steering torque has an absolute value less than the threshold value when the vehicle is in a straight-line traveling state, the controller sets the correction value such that the absolute value of the assist command value is reduced. | 10-02-2014 |

Rack teeth of the rack shaft constituting the first rack and pinion mechanism are formed so that a steering gear ratio is changed depending on a steering angle. The ECU computes a motor neutral point by subtracting a conversion value from a motor angle detection value. The conversion value is computed based on a steering angle detection value by referring to a conversion map that is set taking into account the steering gear ratio corresponding to the steering angle. | 10-23-2014 |

20100218607 | ACCELERATION SENSOR - An acceleration sensor whose characteristics including sensitivity are less likely to change relative to disturbance force applied to a sensor chip. The acceleration sensor has a support frame, a weight supported within the support frame via flexible beams, semiconductor piezoresistance elements provided on the beams, and wiring interconnecting the piezoresistance elements. The acceleration sensor detects acceleration from changes in resistance of the piezoresistance elements. Stress damping sections are provided on those portions of the beams which exclude the portions where the piezoresistance elements are provided. Each stress damping section is symmetrical with respect to the point of intersection between the length center line of the beam and the width center line of the beam. When disturbance force is applied to a sensor element in the direction in which the entire each of the beams extends, the stress damping sections absorbs the disturbance force. Because stress imposed in the direction in which the entire each of the beams extends becomes minimally changeable, and the deformability of the beam also becomes difficult to change, and this reduces the change in the sensitivity of the acceleration sensor caused by disturbance force. | 09-02-2010 |

20120029784 | COMPUTER PROGRAM AND NUMERICAL CALCULATION APPARATUS - In order to cause a computer to execute integral calculation of an integrand, to thereby calculate a value of a second variable used at each calculation time point, the integrand being defined by: a first variable to which a value is given at all calculation time points; and the second variable to which only an initial value is given, the following processing is executed. First, a partial derivative which is obtained by partially differentiating the integrand for the second variable is read out from a storage device. At each calculation time point, the initial value or a value of the second variable calculated at a last calculation time point and a value of the first variable given at a current calculation time point are substituted into each of the integrand and the partial derivative, to thereby calculate a value of the integrand and a value of the partial derivative at the current calculation time point. After this, a value of the second variable used at a next calculation time point is calculated by using an exponential function in which: the calculated value of the integrand is used as an initial value; and a value obtained by multiplying the value of the integrand by the value of the partial derivative is used as a gradient. Accordingly, it becomes possible to solve a differential equation of a distributed parameter system with a reduced amount of calculation. | 02-02-2012 |
20130238176 | CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC ROLLING STOCK - In order to minimize a calculation load and surely obtain a maximum adhesion torque, estimated adhesion torques are always stored, an maximum value is obtained from the stored plural estimated adhesion torques immediately before slip/skid is detected when detecting the slip/skid, and the maximum value is set as a maximum adhesion torque. The maximum adhesion torque immediately before the slip/skid is detected is compared with a value of the estimated adhesion torque when the slip/skid is detected. When the calculated value exceeds a threshold value, it is determined as a condition where an adhesion coefficient drastically drops, and a suppression/return ratio of the torque is switched to a lower value than that under a condition where the adhesion coefficient does not drastically drop. The value of the torque at the time of suppression or return is set to a smaller value to surely suppress the slip/skid. | 09-12-2013 |
