20090076631CONFIGURING A PHYSICAL CONDITION AT A SOURCE TO OBTAIN A DESIRED PHYSICAL CONDITION AT DESTINATION - An apparatus for determining an operation mode of a device, wherein the device is capable of adjusting a physical condition at a source position to correspondingly influence a physical condition at a destination position, the apparatus comprising a determining unit adapted for determining the operation mode by defining a time dependency of the physical condition at the source position so that a target time-dependency of the physical condition is obtained for the destination position, the target time-dependency representing a resultant variation of the physical condition over time.03-19-2009
20100275678PRIMARY PISTON CORRECTION DURING TRANSFER - A method for controlling operation of a pump unit, where the pump unit includes a primary piston pump having a primary piston and a secondary piston pump having a secondary piston. The primary piston pump is fluidically connected with the secondary piston pump. The primary piston pump includes an inlet valve and an outlet valve, and the pump unit operates periodically according to a pump cycle. The method includes determining a fluid pressure of fluid dispensed by the pump unit, and performing a closed loop control of a position of the primary piston in dependence on the fluid pressure of the fluid dispensed by the pump unit during a first time interval of the pump cycle.11-04-2010

20090044259MOBILITY DEVICE PLATFORM PARADIGM - A mobility device platform allowing for secure mobile computing is provided. In an illustrative implementation, an exemplary mobility device platform comprises a mobility device operable to communicate with at least one computing environment through a communications interface and wherein the mobility device is operable to process and store secure web services, a communications network operable to communicate data and computing applications using web services, and a mobility device management server operable to generate, process, store, communicate and encrypt web services to the mobility device. Further, the mobility device management server is operable to perform one or more mobility device management functions to provide encryption keys to cooperating mobility devices and to authenticate and verify cooperating mobility devices requesting web services from the mobility device management server. The mobility device management server and mobility device may further operate to perform authentication and verification using user identification and password information.02-12-2009
20090271401System for software source code comparison - A system for analyzing similarities between a first and second corpus or between a set of concepts and a corpus uses natural language processing and machine intelligence methods to replace terms or phrases in the corpus with concepts, determine the frequency of each concept in the corpus, and convert the corpus into a concept frequency file to enable easy comparison of the two corpuses or easy retrieval of items from the corpus that contain concept. Difference analysis and a combination of content and spectral analysis may be employed.10-29-2009
20130124695Mobility Device Method - A mobility device search client operative to perform searches across disparate computing environment, and an upgrade module operative to allow at least one upgrade of a computing application is provided. In an illustrative implementation, a mobility device comprises at least one search client or upgrade computing application that is operative with a plurality of computing environments.05-16-2013

20150151098SKIN PUNCTURING DEVICE - A safety needle assembly for skin puncturing. A plurality of needles driven by a reciprocating drive shaft extend and retract through an opening in one end of the assembly. Eleven or twelve needles are configured so as to minimize potential surface tension and reduce stress applied to the skin. The opening may be rounded or scalloped to reduce friction on the skin. An elastomeric or mechanical spring is used to assist in retracting the needles. Various alignment tabs and features are used to ensure proper alignment of the drive shaft within the assembly, and alignment of the needle assembly when attached to a handpiece during use. Safety tabs on the needle assembly prevent reuse. A protective sleeve may be used to cover the exterior of the needle assembly.06-04-2015

20150342666Epilation by Thermolysis - A method for removing hair by thermolysis is provided. The method steps include oscillating a direct current to create an alternating current (“AC”) micro-pulse, pulsing the AC micro-pulse on and off continuously, delivering the AC micro-pulse to a probe, applying the probe to a hair follicle, and inverting the direction of the AC micro-pulse on the hair follicle. When the probe is applied to the hair follicle, the AC micro-pulse travels from the top of the dermis of the hair follicle to a dermal papilla of the hair follicle. The AC micro-pulse reverses direction at the dermal papilla and travels to the top of the dermis of the hair follicle. The AC micro-pulse produces heat that destroys the tissues controlling the growth of the hair follicle.12-03-2015
