The technical result consists in increasing the reliability and effectiveness of the performance of a remote-acting electroshock weapon, improving the likelihood of overcoming armed targets by using two pairs of current conducting wires simultaneously, and increasing the likelihood of arresting an offender. The present multiple-charge remote-acting electroshock weapon, with firing cartridges having pyrotechnic devices for unlocking the cartridges from the frame of the weapon, comprises locking mechanisms for the firing cartridges with forced unlocking of a firing cartridge from the frame of the weapon, a mechanical cartridge lock for preventing automatic unlocking from the frame of the weapon, and a member for the control of the operating time of an electronic circuit in the weapon, irrespective of the position of a trigger element after firing. | 2022-05-26 |
20220163294 | CEW Weapon System and Related Methods - Implementations of conductive energy weapons (CEWs) may include a shock generating circuit configured to couple to a power source, two electrodes operatively coupled to the shock generating circuit, and a safety circuit operatively coupled to the shock generating circuit. The shock generating circuit may be configured to generate a first pulse train and deliver the first pulse train to a target, and may be configured to generate at least a second pulse train and deliver the at least second pulse train to a target. The safety circuit may be configured to prevent the CEW from applying pulse trains to the target after a predetermined number of pulse trains. The first pulse train may include two or more pulses having waveforms substantially identical with each other, each of the waveforms of the two or more pulses having both a positive voltage segment and a negative voltage segment. | 2022-05-26 |
20220163295 | INTELLIGENT MUNITION - A small arms form factor munition may package a control section with a deployment section in a munition case. The control section can have a first drag mechanism and a second drag mechanism. Firing the munition case from a firearm propels the load from the munition case and barrel of the firearm towards a target. A drag mechanism is selected and activated by the control section in response to a detected distance to the target while the load is in flight. The drag mechanism alters a flight characteristic of the load. | 2022-05-26 |
20220163296 | BEAM DIRECTOR FOR HIGH-ENERGY LASER (HEL) WEAPON - A beam director system for a high-energy laser (HEL) weapon includes correction sensors that are able detect misalignments in optical elements throughout the entire optical path traversed by the high-energy laser. The system includes beam correction sensors that sense misalignments in a first part of the optical path, and high-speed track sensors that sense misalignments in a second part of the optical path, with the first part and the second part overlapping. This allows all optics to be sensed by the beam correction sensors and/or the high-speed track sensors. The system can accommodate a wide variety of lasers for the HEL, preferably including a co-boresighted and aligned alignment laser. By having the track sensors further downstream on the optical path than in prior devices, the acquisition and track sensor fields of view of the system may be improved. | 2022-05-26 |
20220163297 | DEVICE FOR DISRUPTING BINOCULAR VISION - A visual impairment device includes a light source, a modulator, and a controller. The light source capable of generating two or more high intensity light beams having different peak wavelengths, wherein at least one of the light beams has a wavelength bandwidth of less than 100 nm. The modulator modulates the two or more beams of intense light to produce a spatial array comprising a first array of first light beams having a first peak wavelength and a second array of second light beams having a second peak wavelength different from the first wavelength. The controller includes control circuitry for controlling the light source, the modulator, or both. The spatial array is projected into a space such that a lateral distance of at least one first light beam to a second light beam is in a range of 40-110 mm within at least one area of the space. | 2022-05-26 |
