20140129169CHROMATOGRAM DATA PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE - Before executing a search for optimal correspondence relationship with a coarse-to-fine DP (dynamic programming) algorithm using time information of peaks appearing in a chromatogram as input data, a simplified linear correction is executed based on detection of start point and end point of the section in which the peaks are present. It is sufficient to correct only nonlinear time deviations in coarse-to-fine DP, and the space to be searched is thus narrowed down. In addition, in coarse stage DP, the number of pieces of data to be processed is reduced by selecting peaks based on peak intensity. Between coarse stage DP and fine stage DP, local inappropriate matching is eliminated by performing filtering processing in accordance with trend of time deviations over the entire chromatogram. The space to be searched in fine stage DP becomes narrow, which reduces the number of candidates to be searched and shortens the calculation time.2014-05-08

20140129202PRE-SIMULATION CIRCUIT PARTITIONING - Before supplying a series of instructions to a circuit simulator, methods and systems cache the series of instructions and partition the series of instructions into an active portion and an inactive portion. Thus, the circuit simulator creates a reduced circuit simulation from just the instructions directed to the active portion (instead of a full integrated circuit that would have been simulated with the entire series of instructions). The reduced circuit simulated by these systems and methods has less circuit elements relative to any integrated circuit that would have been simulated with the entire series of instructions. Thus, this reduced circuit is only a portion of the integrated circuit that would have been simulated.2014-05-08

If the first mode parsing does not result in a multi-token classifier encompassing all tokens of the input string, a control unit controls the parse unit to parse the input sequence in a second mode that applies both the regular and artificial production rules. A rule generator unit generates the artificial production rules based on the input sequence and/or intermediate results of the parsing. The parser unit provides a complete parse tree for ungrammatical sentences and a solution where the regular production rules do not cover the complete grammar of the respective natural language.2014-05-08

The method then flattens the organization chart to enumerate the permissions inherited by the jobs. The method proceeds to mine the inherited permissions across the jobs to optimize the sets of permissions. The sets can be optimized (e.g., minimize number of sets, maximize coverage, etc.) and named so as to be conveniently assigned (e.g., by an HR person) to a job (e.g., in the case of a new employee).2014-05-08
