The tape strip member is used to measure the desired spacing between points. The fastening member is then used to pierce the tape strip, thereby marking the position of the points. The tape strip member with the attached fastening members are then taken to a surface such as a wall where one of the fastening members is driven into the wall. The level member assists in enabling the user to position the second fastening member so that the tape strip will be in a perfect horizontal or vertical plane from the first fastening member. The temporary fastening members mark the points on the surface where a permanent fastening implement or hanging appliance such as a nail, screw, anchor or other fastening implement can be inserted.2016-04-07
