20090089332METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ASSOCIATING DATA RECORDS IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES - Embodiments disclosed herein provide a system and method for associating data records in multiple languages within a single hub. As a record comes in from an information source coupled to the hub, it is associated with a particular language at a core layer. The hub maps each language one-to-one to a member type. For each data record of a particular member type, unique derivation code is utilized to perform standardization and bucketing at a derived layer. A weight may be used to balance the richness of languages so that data records in different languages can have the same statistical meaning. Since attributes are standardized with respect to a language of a data record, appropriate languages or script can be passed along with the data record. The hub can then match the data record to the optimum algorithm(s) for entity processing at an entity layer.2009-04-02

20090089334LAZY UPDATES TO INDEXES IN A DATABASE - System(s) and method(s) facilitate improved performance for insert/update query requests in a database. A lazy updating based on delaying updates of newly inserted records combined with a master-staging partitioning scheme avoid deterioration of performance arising from updating indexes related to new records inserted in a database. Table partitioning as well as partitioning of indexes associated with the table allow new records to reside in manageable sections of memory for pre-configured periods of times prior to being updated. To avoid deterioration of performance associated with increasing size of table/index partitions, the size is maintained below specific thresholds that can be determined based on query workload and other historical data. Deployment of partitions among file systems and design of update delay times can further increase performance of lazy updating.2009-04-02

20090089336FAILURE DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM APPARATUS AND METHOD - An apparatus for collecting dump data collection receives an on demand data (ODD) dump request, pauses one or more scan loops, transfers dump data to an ODD dump buffer space, unpauses the scan loops, and offloads dump data from the ODD dump buffer space to the storage device. The apparatus may also prioritize dump data for transfer to the ODD dump buffer space, load balance dump data for transfer to the ODD dump buffer space, and schedule offloading of the dump data from the ODD dump buffer space to non-volatile storage.2009-04-02
20090089337Efficient file hash identifier computation - Described is maintaining cached hash values for files in association with state data for each file that represents the state of that file's contents at the time of hashing. For example, in a journaling file system, the state data may comprise the update sequence number of the file in the journal and a journal identifier for that journal instance. A request for a hash value for a file is processed by determining whether a cached hash value is maintained for that file. If so, and the associated maintained state data matches current state data for the file, the file contents are unchanged since the last hash computation, whereby the cached hash value is returned in response to the request. Otherwise, a new hash value is computed for the file and returned, and cached for future use. Multiple types of hashes may be cached for a given file.2009-04-02

Detection of the network connectivity status of the UE may include, for example, detecting termination of network connectivity of the UE responsive to a communication to the network by the UE, receiving a termination message from the UE at the bootstrapping server function (BSF), receiving notification of de-registration of the UE from a home subscriber server (HSS) and/or detecting a loss of communications between the UE and the network. A bootstrapping server function (BSF) communicates with at least one network application function (NAF) responsive to detection of the network connectivity status to terminate a plurality of sessions associated with the UE.2009-04-02
20090089426Security Management Device, Communication System, and Access Control Method - The present invention provides a technique of preventing a user from being tricked into revealing personal information by pharming.2009-04-02
20090089427Secure personal content server - A local content server system (LCS) for creating a secure environment for digital content is disclosed, which system comprises: a communications port in communication for connecting the LCS via a network to at least one Secure Electronic Content Distributor (SECD), which SECD is capable of storing a plurality of data sets, is capable of receiving a request to transfer at least one content data set, and is capable of transmitting the at least one content data set in a secured transmission; a rewritable storage medium whereby content received from outside the LCS may be stored and retrieved; a domain processor that imposes rules and procedures for content being transferred between the LCS and devices outside the LCS; and a programmable address module which can be programmed with an identification code uniquely associated with the LCS. The LCS is provided with rules and procedures for accepting and transmitting content data. Optionally, the system may further comprise: an interface to permit the LCS to communicate with one or more Satellite Units (SU) which may be connected to the system through the interface, which SUs are capable of receiving and transmitting digital content; at least one SU; and/or at least one SECD. The SECD may have a storage device for storing a plurality of data sets, as well as a transaction processor for validating the request to purchase and for processing payment for a request to retrieve one of the data sets. The SECD typically includes a security module for encrypting or otherwise securitizing data which the SECD may transmit.2009-04-02
20090089428REDUCING OVERHEAD IN COMPONENT INTERACTIONS - Systems, methods and computer program products are provided for reducing overhead in component interactions comprising monitoring interactions between components residing within a domain boundary; storing data indicative of the interactions; analyzing the data to determine whether there is a first component on a first server and a second component on a second server within the domain boundary that are coupled and dislocated that should be co-located; evaluating available server resources; determining whether the first and second components can be co-located based upon the evaluation of available server resources; and conveying a request to co-locate the first and second components if it is determined that the first and second components can be co-located.2009-04-02
20090089429AUTONOMICALLY CO-LOCATING FIRST AND SECOND COMPONENTS ON A SELECT SERVER - Systems, methods and computer program products are provided for identifying a first component on a first server and a second component on a second server for co-location, where the first and second servers are within a domain boundary; inspecting available server resources within the domain boundary; determining a select server in the domain boundary for co-location based upon the inspection of available server resources; and autonomically co-locating the first and second components to the select server.2009-04-02
20090089430Alternative fuels resource allocation system - A database information system that provides the means, method or process by which entities or individuals assess, interpret, analyze, compile and disseminate information pertaining to alternative energy production, resource development or the like.2009-04-02
20090089431System and method for managing resources in access network - Disclosed are a system and a method for improved collection of resource information of an access network. The method includes obtaining line information about a line that a subscriber terminal in an access network accesses and resource information about at least a part of the line when an internet protocol (IP) is assigned to the subscriber terminal, transmitting the line information and the resource information from the access network, and creating a database containing the line information and the resource information. Thereby system load is reduced and efficiency of resource allocation is enhanced.2009-04-02
