The image scanner comprises an output unit to output image data generated based on scanned image to the information processing device; and an instructing unit to transmit a prohibition command for prohibiting displaying of an image based on the image data, to the information processing device. The information processing device comprises a data reception unit to receive the image data outputted by the image scanner; a display unit; a control unit configured to control the display unit to display the image based on the image data; and a command reception unit configured to receive the prohibition command. In this configuration, the control unit operates to prohibit displaying of the image based on the received image data in response to reception of the prohibition command through the command reception unit.2010-04-01
20100079824Image Forming Apparatus - An image forming apparatus includes: a forming unit configured to form a mark on a carrier; a light emitting unit configured to emit light toward a surface of the carrier; a light receiving unit configured to receive reflected light from the surface of the carrier and from the mark and configured to output a light reception signal corresponding to a amount of the received reflected light; a detecting unit configured to detect a position of the mark on the carrier on a basis of a signal wave contained in the light reception signal; and a modification unit configured to modify the detected position of the mark by a modification amount corresponding to a difference in a waveform of the signal wave corresponding to the mark so as to reduce an error between the detected position and an actual position.2010-04-01
20100079825IMAGING APPARATUS FOR READING INFORMATION - A position Z of an image sensor is moved to an initial position A (image forming position) in a Z axis direction. An exposing operation is performed at a position A, and it is determined whether or not an exposing time counted by a timer has reached ta. If the exposing time has reached ta, an image sensor 2010-04-01
20100079826IMAGING APPARATUS FOR READING INFORMATION - A liquid crystal panel includes an iris unit for limiting the incident range of light from an object to be shot, and a filter unit for assigning a exposure energy distribution varying with the position to incident light whose incident range is limited by the iris unit. The control unit controls the ON time and the OFF time of each pixel of the liquid crystal panel, and then a low pass filter operation on the captured image as an image processing can be optically replaced.2010-04-01
20100079827Document Scanning Device - A document scanning device, configured to sequentially eject and insert sheets under a stack of already-ejected sheets, includes a feed tray, a document table, a catch tray, a feeder feeding sheets from the feed tray to the catch tray, a scanner performing scanning in one of a first mode to scan the sheets fed by the feeder and a second mode to scan a sheet placed on the document table, an ejection detector detecting a sheet on the catch tray, and a controller. In response to an instruction to start the scanning, the controller forbids the scanner to start the scanning when determining with the ejection detector that a sheet is on the catch tray, and allows the scanner to start the scanning in a selected one of the first mode and the second mode when determining with the ejection detector that no sheet is on the catch tray.2010-04-01
