20150059695 | Long Power Stroke Engine - Means and method of substantially increasing the efficiency of a spark ignition Otto cycle engine. This is done by increasing the stroke length of the pistons and reducing the amount of air (or fuel/air mixture) by means other than the throttle plate taken in on the intake stroke. The amount of air or fuel/air mixture taken in is that which creates the same conditions in the combustion chamber at the conclusion of the compression stroke as exist in prior art engines used for the same application. The advantage arises from the increase in the length of the power stroke; this extracts more energy from the combustion gases before they are removed on the exhaust stroke and it also increases the torque of the engine as it is well known that torque is a function of stroke length. Extracting more energy from the combustion gases also reduces the amount of heat transferred to the engine block, thereby reducing the load on the cooling system. | 2015-03-05 |

20150059697 | IGNITION TIMING CONTROL DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE - A water temperature indicated at a startup timing of an engine is stored as a startup-timing water temperature. During an idling state generated after a cold start, a retard amount (S) is calculated based on the startup-timing water temperature. At this time, the retard amount (S) is set at a larger level as the startup-timing water temperature becomes higher. However, in a case that the startup-timing water temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature, the retard amount (S) is set at a smaller level as the startup-timing water temperature becomes higher. A retard amount (R) is calculated based on a current water temperature in the same manner as the retard amount (S). 20150059740 | AIRWAY PRODUCTS AND TECHNIQUE FOR USING THE SAME - An airway management device is provided that may adjust the inflation level of a cuff associated with an endotracheal tube. The cuff inflation may be adjusted in response to an increase in carbon dioxide levels above the cuff, which may indicate a poor seal of the cuff against the tracheal walls, as well in response to a measured intracuff pressure. By using information about the seal quality of the cuff together with information about the cuff pressure, the inflation of the cuff can be adjusted to minimize cuff inflation pressure while maintaining a high quality tracheal seal. | 2015-03-05 |
20150059741 | SOUND MUFFLER AND OXYGEN CONCENTRATION DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME - Provided is an expansion-chamber muffler as a downsized sound muffler while keeping a function of noise reduction, comprising:

20150059742 | OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR APPARATUS AND METHOD HAVING FLOW RESTRICTED COUPLING OF THE CANISTERS - An oxygen concentrator may rely on a pressure swing adsorption process to produce an oxygen enriched gas stream from canisters filled with granules capable of separation of oxygen from an air stream. The adsorption process uses a cyclical pressurization and venting of the canisters to generate an oxygen enriched gas stream. The oxygen concentrator system may include one or more flow restrictors to allow controlled release of oxygen enriched gas between the canisters. | 2015-03-05 |
20150059743 | VENTILATOR - Provided is a ventilator for supplying a mixed gas of oxygen and a medical gas other than oxygen to a patient as an inhalation gas, including a first gas supply device for supplying a gas containing oxygen, an intratracheal tube path inserted and placed in a trachea of the patient, an extratracheal tube path for connecting the first gas supply device with the intratracheal tube path and guiding the gas containing oxygen from the first gas supply device to the patient, and a second gas supply device connected to the extratracheal tube path or the intratracheal tube path for supplying the mixed gas of oxygen and the medical gas other than oxygen to the extratracheal tube path or the intratracheal tube path. Therefore, a ventilator capable of performing effective (artificial) ventilation while reducing a consumption amount of a medical gas other than oxygen is provided. | 2015-03-05 |
