A learning matrix is created. A coefficient of learning vector is deduced. From a new vector from non-invasive measurements, a new matrix of same size and structure is created. Using the coefficient of learning vector, a recognition matrix may be tested to measure the bioparameter non-invasively. The learning matrix may be expanded and kept regular. After a device is calibrated to the individual patient, universal calibration can be generated from sending data over the Internet. | 07-26-2012 |

The system and method determine a patient-specific anatomical model based on the impedance and ECAP signals, and transform a dorsal column (DC) map template based on a DC boundary of the patient-specific anatomical model. Further, the system and method map the transformed DC map template to the patient-specific anatomical model. The system and method may also include the algorithms to solve extracellular and intracellular domain electrical fields and propagation along neurons. The system and method may also include the user interfaces to collect patient responses and compare with the patient-specific anatomical model as well as using the patient-specific anatomical model for guiding SCS programming. | 06-09-2016 |
20160157773 | Electronic Device for Determining Sleep State and Method of Controlling Same - Disclosed is a method for an electronic device. The method may include: acquiring a galvanic skin response; generating a first parameter for a first interval and a second parameter for a second interval based on the galvanic skin response, the second interval being an interval before the first interval; determining a first threshold corresponding to the first interval based on the second parameter; and determining an activity state of the first interval based on the first threshold and the first parameter corresponding to the first interval. | 06-09-2016 |

20160183837 | Detection of tissue injury using microcurrent. Device name - Zone Finder - This invention detects tissue injury using microcurrent. Repeated tests, standardized with the force gauges will show significantly decreased microcurrent over injured tissue. It is fast, simple, and inexpensive, and directly measures tissue injury. | 06-30-2016 |
20160183840 | Volumetric Induction Phase Shift Detection System for Determining Tissue Water Content Properties - A method and apparatus of determining the condition of a bulk tissue sample, by: positioning a bulk tissue sample between a pair of induction coils (or antennae); passing a spectrum of alternating current (or voltage) through a first of the induction coils (or antennae); measuring spectrum of alternating current (or voltage) produced in the second of the induction coils (or antennae); and comparing the phase shift between the spectrum of alternating currents (or voltages) in the first and second induction coils (or antennae), thereby determining the condition of the bulk tissue sample. | 06-30-2016 |

20160374585 | THREE-DIMENSIONAL BIO-MEDICAL PROBE SENSING AND CONTACTING STRUCTURES WITH ADDRESSIBILITY AND TUNABILITY - A three dimensional biomedical probe device is provided that includes a planar substrate. A probe structure is supported on the planar substrate. The probe structure has a base and a portion essentially perpendicular to the base extending along a length to a tip and has a linear dimension at the tip of said probe structure of between 5 nanometers (nm) and 5 microns thereby defining an AC, DC, or transient current, charge, or voltage sensing probe. In one variation, this probe is the electrical contact to the biomedical medium. In another variation this probe is the gate electrode of a field effect transistor (FET). An array of selectively electrically addressable such devices is also provided giving the ability to sample the physiological activity at many positions within cells, fluids and intercellular regions without the need for mechanical motion and inducing cellular lysis. | 12-29-2016 |
20160374588 | MONITORING HYDRATION BASED ON GALVANIC SKIN RESPONSE - Examples are disclosed herein that are related to monitoring body hydration levels based on galvanic skin response measurements acquired by a wearable electronic device. One example provides a wearable electronic device including a sensor configured to measure a galvanic skin response, a logic device, and a storage device including instructions executable by the logic device to operate a hydration monitoring mode, acquire a plurality of measures of galvanic skin response over time, present data regarding the plurality of measures of galvanic skin response. | 12-29-2016 |
