20090291770Arranging Apparatus of Destination Line in Golf and Golf Putter - An aligning apparatus of a golf destination line is provided. The aligning apparatus aligns a putter face of a golf putter with a destination line connecting a golf ball and a destination. A rotation angle between the destination line and the putter face and an acceptance angle are set in a variance setting unit, and the acceptance angle is an acceptable error range of the rotation angle. A 3-axis magnetic resistance sensor measures a magnetic field strength applied to the golf putter, and a 3-axis accelerometer measures an acceleration applied to the golf putter. A processor calculates a tilt angle of the 3-axis magnetic resistance sensor from the measured acceleration, and compensates the measured magnetic field strength with the tilt angle to calculate an azimuth of the putter face of the golf putter. An output unit outputs a reporting signal when a difference between the azimuth and an aligning azimuth determined by the rotation angle is within a range of the acceptance angle.11-26-2009

20080274819Grip Pressure Sensor - Grip pressure is monitored by a collection of battery powered components embodied in an assembly analogous to an ordinary wrist watch, that is a watch housing or casement and a stretchable band. The system, which we shall refer to as a swing monitor, is worn on the wrist and deployed in such a way that the back of the housing or casement is cinched securely to the back or underside of the wrist. A pressure plate on the back of the watch makes contact with the pulse region of the wrist. The flexing and relaxing of the muscles and tendons of the wearer is read by an electronic pressure sensing device, a piezo sensor. A tighter grip will register greater pressure and a looser grip, less pressure. The device records grip pressure associated with the swing of a golf club, tennis racquest or baseball bat, among other articles of sports equipment meant to be swung. The grip pressure determined to be optimal, that is giving the desired result, can be SAVED in the memory of the swing monitor system. Subsequent swings and their associated grip pressures are compared with the SAVED value of the optimal or best swing. An audible signal alerts the wearer if the grip pressure departs from that registered on the optimal or best swing.11-06-2008

The device helps the user to synchronize their hip rotation with the rotation of their hands. Rotating the hips and hands at the same time is difficult to master, especially for a beginner. With this device, if a user does not rotate his or her hips at the correct time, then the user's hands will encounter the forwardly extending rod that is affixed to the user's waist. Thus, this invention teaches correct timing.08-18-2011
20110306434Golf swing trainer - A golf swing trainer which gives a golfer immediate feedback as to whether the relative timing of the hip movement to the club movement is correct. The trainer comprises a lightweight swing arm which is pivotally connected to the user's belt. For a right handed user, the swing arm on the trainer is initially placed to the right of a right-handed user and is pushed around by the movement of the user's left forearm during a correct golf swing. On the other hand, if the golfer's arms pass in front of the swing arm without swinging it around with the arms, the timing of hip movement was incorrect. In the case of a left handed golfer, the trainer swing arm is initially moved to its far left position and, as before, during the downswing, the user's arms should come in behind and push the trainer swing arm around ahead of the user's arm.12-15-2011
