20090263225 | INTEGRATED WEDGE LOCK ARRANGEMENT - A hydraulically operated wedge lock system is disclosed to provide a releasable mechanical lock between relatively movable telescoping boom segments. Each wedge lock mechanism includes a backing wedge block connected to a relatively stationary boom segment It defines an angled smooth surface. A stationary shaft is supported generally parallel to the angled surface of the backing wedge block with a stationary piston secured to the shaft at an end. A slidable wedge block is supported for reciprocal movement on the angled surface. It includes a bore having a closed end defining a receptacle between the end and the stationary piston; and, a compression spring is disposed in the receptacle biased to urge the closed end of the bore away from the stationary piston. The end of the bore is closed with a gland to define a chamber with the piston. A port is provided to supply hydraulic fluid to urge the slidable wedge block against the bias of the spring. | 10-22-2009 |
20100322753 | Method Of Operating A Working Machine - A method of operating a working machine which includes a main structure and a working arm pivotally mounted at one end on the main structure. The working arm is raisable and lowerable relative to the main structure by a first actuator device, and is extendible relative to the main structure by a second actuator device. In use, the arm carries at another end a working implement which can carry a load. The machine further including a ground engaging drive structure by which the machine is drivable on the ground. The machine has a longitudinal load moment control system which automatically disables operation of the first and/or second actuator devices from increasing longitudinal instability in the event that a predetermined instability is sensed. When the machine senses a ground travelling speed above a threshold speed, the longitudinal load moment control system is disabled. | 12-23-2010 |
20130280021 | FLUID CONVEYANCE SYSTEM FOR EARTHMOVING MACHINE - An earthmoving machine includes a frame, a boom, an elongated member, an attachment, a conduit, and a reel. The frame supports a fluid source. The boom includes a first end coupled to the frame and a second end opposite the first end. The elongated member is movably coupled to the boom and includes a first end and a second end. The attachment is coupled to the second end of the elongated member. The conduit is in fluid communication with the fluid source and conveys fluid between the fluid source and the attachment. The reel supports at least a portion of the conduit. The reel is rotatable to reel in and pay out the conduit as the elongated member moves relative to the boom. | 10-24-2013 |
20150078873 | Mining Shovel Roller Saddle Block - A mining shovel roller saddle block structure has first and second pairs of rollers which roll atop the shovel's dipper handles. Shafts mounted within the rollers are rotatably supported by block clamps fastened to shelves fixed atop the shovel's saddle blocks. Drop stops fixed to the shelves between the rollers extend over the dipper handles. Cables coupled between the block clamps and the drop stops retain the structure if it is dislodged by a collision with greenhorn protrusions on the dipper handles. | 03-19-2015 |
20150354165 | Lift Arm Linkage with Extension Cylinder - A lift arm linkage includes a pair of lift arms, a pair of extension arms, and a tool. Each lift arm of the pair of lift arms includes a first lift arm end and a second lift arm end. Each extension arm of the pair of extension arms includes a first extension arm end pivotally attached to the second lift arm end and a second extension arm end. The tool is pivotally attached to the second extension arm end. | 12-10-2015 |
20160090282 | BOOM ASSEMBLY WITH YAW ADJUSTMENT - A boom of a wheeled loader or digger is pivoted about a horizontal axis in a fork. Yaw adjustment is provided by opposed taper plugs which constitute a spindle of the boom. The taper portions of the plugs are eccentric with respect to the bearing portions and may be rotationally adjusted to correct misalignment of the boom in yaw. A threaded fastener locks the taper plugs to the boom. | 03-31-2016 |
