20080203883LAMP, LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE, AND PROJECTOR - A lamp includes a light emitter enclosing a material emitting light upon receiving irradiation of microwave, and a coil formed on an outer side of the light emitter. In the lamp, a position of the coil with respect to the light emitter is changed in response to a temperature.08-28-2008
20110031866PLASMA RADIATION SOURCE, METHOD OF FORMING PLASMA RADIATION, APPARATUS FOR PROJECTING A PATTERN FROM A PATTERNING DEVICE ONTO A SUBSTRATE AND DEVICE MANUFACTURING METHOD - A patterned beam of radiation is projected onto a substrate. A reflective optical element is used to help form the radiation beam from radiation emitted from a plasma region of a plasma source. In the plasma source, a plasma current is generated in the plasma region. To reduce damage to the reflective optical element, a magnetic field is applied in the plasma region with at least a component directed along a direction of the plasma current. This axial magnetic field helps limit the collapse of the Z-pinch region of the plasma. By limiting the collapse, the number of fast ions emitted may be reduced.02-10-2011
20120256532PANEL SYSTEM FOR COVERING A GLASS OR PLASTIC SURFACE - An improved panel system for covering a glass or plastic surface is provided that involves field emission structures having electric or magnetic field sources. The magnitudes, polarities, and positions of the magnetic or electric field sources are configured to have desirable correlation properties, which may be in accordance with a code. The correlation properties correspond to a desired spatial force function where spatial forces between field emission structures correspond to relative alignment, separation distance, and the spatial force function.10-11-2012
20130229105VARIABLE FIELD EMISSION DEVICE - A field emission device is configured as a heat engine, wherein the configuration of the heat engine is variable.09-05-2013
2014035413812CaO-7Al2O3 ELECTRIDE HOLLOW CATHODE - The use of the electride form of 12CaO-7Al12-04-2014
20160111250BEAM EXTRACTION SLIT STRUCTURE AND ION SOURCE - A beam extraction slit structure includes a plasma chamber interior surface that is, in operation, in contact with a plasma; a plasma chamber exterior surface that faces an extraction electrode; and a slit surface part that forms a beam extraction slit between the plasma chamber interior surface and the plasma chamber exterior surface in the beam extraction direction. The slit surface part includes a plasma meniscus fixing part formed in an area of relatively higher plasma density in the slit longitudinal direction to fixingly maintain a plasma meniscus of the plasma and a plasma meniscus non-fixing part formed in an area of relatively lower plasma density in the slit longitudinal direction to movably maintain the plasma meniscus of the plasma in the beam extraction direction.04-21-2016

20140111080METHOD FOR PRODUCING A WINDING FOR PRODUCING ELECTRODES FOR DISCHARGE LAMPS, WINDING PROPERTIES IN ELECTRODES FOR DISCHARGE LAMPS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELECTRODE FOR DISCHARGE LAMPS - A method for producing a primary winding for producing an electrode for discharge lamps includes: producing a primary winding, wherein producing the primary winding comprises: providing a primary core wire, which has a longitudinal axis and consists of an electrically conductive material, winding a cladding wire around the primary core wire along the longitudinal axis of the primary core wire, with the result that the cladding wire forms a primary core wire cladding surrounding the primary core wire, and winding a wrapping wire around the primary core wire cladding at a radial distance from the primary core wire along the longitudinal axis of the primary core wire.04-24-2014
313156000 Field transverse to discharge 1
20150015135Ionizing Electrode with Integral Cleaning Mechanism - Ionizing electrode with a cleaning mechanism including a solenoid with a bushing, a magnetic conductor, a coil housing a core having first and second ends, a return spring and a terminal for high voltage supply mounted on its body. The ionizing electrode is mounted inside the bushing and is configured so that an ionizing end and a non-ionizing end of the electrode protrude from the bushing, the non-ionizing end being fastened to the first end of the solenoid core.01-15-2015

20100090579DEVICE FOR THE FIELD EMISSION OF PARTICLES AND PRODUCTION METHOD - The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for production of a device for thermally induced field emission of particles for particle optical devices such as in particular electron or ion microscopes,04-15-2010
313161000 Gas or vapor type 3
20090153010BI-DIRECTIONAL DISPENSER CATHODE - A multi-directional dispenser cathode has a cathode body that supports a plurality of electron emitters which spanning open portions of the cathode body. Each electron emitter has an inward facing surface and an outward facing surface wherein the inward facing surfaces and an interior wall of the body define an interior volume that contains a heater. To selectively accelerate emitted electrons, an electrically distinct biasing electrode is in spaced relationship to the outward facing surface of each electron emitter and coupled to a biasing power supply effective to provide an intermittent positive voltage potential to the biasing electrode. The distinct biasing electrodes are provided with a positive voltage potential at different times thereby causing an intermittent burst of electrons. Among the applications for intermittent bursts of accelerated electrons are to generate radiation from a particle accelerator.06-18-2009
20100109503METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR POSITIONING A CERAMIC INDUCTION DISCHARGE BODY RELATIVE TO AN INDUCTION COIL - An electrodeless or induction ceramic HID lamp includes a ceramic arc body having a generally spheroidal portion enclosing a discharge chamber and an induction coil received around a perimeter portion of the spheroidal portion. At least one leg extends from the spheroidal portion of the arc body. A mounting structure connects the arc body to the surrounding lamp assembly. In one arrangement, a mounting tube is received over at least a portion of the leg, and may further include a light transmissive shroud that also abuts with the induction coil to precisely locate the arc body relative to the coil. In another arrangement, first and second mounting members extend from spaced locations of the arc body, either as pins or legs extending from the spheroidal portion, or radially extending legs from an equatorial portion of the arc body. In still another arrangement, a ceramic mounting member extends from the arc body and includes a thin peripheral rim having spaced ridges to engage spaced locations of the induction coil.05-06-2010
20100109504STARTING COIL FOR INDUCTION LIGHTING - Life of a starting conductor or coil in an induction lamp is significantly improved with the present disclosure. A mechanical support supports the starting coil adjacent the arc body of the lamp and has features that allow the starting coil to mount thereon. The mechanical support may be made of a high temperature material such as glass, quartz, or ceramic so that light from the lamp is not blocked. In another embodiment, the starting conductor is protected from oxidation by fully encasing the starting conductor within the high temperature material. In still another embodiment, a thin coating of a high temperature material that may or may not be light transmissive could be used as an alternative manner of support.05-06-2010
