A multi-segment thread assembly secured within a ring groove to the sleeve is displaceable radially inwardly and outwardly in response to a rigid, cylindrical collar secured to the handle assembly. Each segment comprises an outer tapered portion contacted by and compressed by the collar. Pushing and subsequent rotation of the handle assembly attaches the thread assembly on the threaded target to connect the adapter.09-30-2010
20100270789QUICK CONNECT TOOL - A quick connect tool collar including a multipart collar body. A rib extending radially inwardly from the collar body and one or more recesses in the collar body at an inside dimension surface thereof. One or more profiles at an outside dimension surface of the collar body.10-28-2010
20100327575QUICK FILL FLUID CONNECTOR - A fluid connector having a longitudinal axis and selective open and closed conditions, the connector only in its closed condition adapted to threadedly engage a mating fluid fitting. The fluid connector includes an elongate conduit member extending along the longitudinal axis, an annular collar disposed about and having axial movement relative to the conduit member between the connector open and closed conditions, and a plurality of split nut members circumferentially distributed about the conduit member and having axial movement relative to the collar between the connector open and closed conditions. The plurality of split nut members and the collar are jointly rotatably about the longitudinal axis, and each split nut member has a distal end defining a threaded nut segment. The split nut member distal ends in the connector closed condition are constrained by the collar against radially separating movement relative to the longitudinal axis and cooperatively define a nut configured to threadedly engage a mating fluid fitting. The split nut member distal ends in the connector open condition have an expanded configuration in which, relative to the connector closed condition, they are radially separated from the longitudinal axis and not cooperatively positioned to threadedly engage a mating fluid fitting.12-30-2010
20160018035Quick connector apparatus - The present invention provides a quick connector device that includes: a connector body that has two fluid hose connectors located at two ends and an injector port connector located at a middle bottom section thereof; a locking member that is inserted into and rotatably connected to the injector port connector of the connector body and detachably coupled to the injector port; and an o-ring that is coupled to the injector port connector of the connector body and provides a sealing to the injector port. The connector body includes a support rib and a receiving space that securely maintain the locked state and allow the technician to easily assemble/disassemble the device. The quick connector device allows the technician to determine whether the device is in the locked or unlocked state based on the angular position of the locking member.01-21-2016
20160053926REUSABLE CLAMP WITH LATCH RELEASE ARM FOR CONNECTING CONDUIT SECTIONS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS - A reusable clamp for retaining conduit sections or sanitary fittings having circular flanges together includes two gland members movable between open and closed positions. The gland members include two handles projecting outwardly from the gland members and two sets of locking detents formed on a latch finger connected to one gland member and the outer periphery of the other gland member. The locking detents engage to prevent movement of the gland members away from the closed position until a latch release arm coupled to the latch finger is depressed towards one of the handles, which causes the locking detents to disengage from one another and enables re-opening of the clamp when desired. The latch release arm and one or more of the handles also include tie-receiving loops to prevent accidental opening of the clamp unless desired by the end user.02-25-2016

20100320747SOCKET FOR PIPE JOINT AND PIPE JOINT - A socket that receives and locks a plug has a cylindrical socket body, a plug-locking element provided in a first through-hole of the socket, a sleeve-operating element provided in a second through-hole of the socket, a sleeve, and a collar. The collar is movable between a first position (FIG. 12-23-2010
