There is a simple and effective method of making such a cab post. The method includes providing a cab frame with a hollow cab post having an air vent in a sidewall thereof and open first and second ends. The method also includes attaching a piece of unexpanded foam to a clip. The clip has a base forming a foam piece support to which the piece of unexpanded foam is attached. The clip has a gripping member, and an arm connecting the base to the gripping member. The method further includes inserting the clip and the foam piece through the vent and into the post so that the unexpanded foam piece is inside the post and spaced apart from an edge of the vent and between the vent and the first end of the post. The gripping member is coupled to the post so that the gripping member grips an edge of the vent. The cab frame and/or the post is then heated so that the foam expands and forms a seal within the post between the vent and the first end of the post. The result is a cab post with a sealed lower end wherein conditioned air from a roof mounted HVAC unit will flow from the upper end of the post, through the post to the vent and out of the vent and into the interior of the cab. | 04-15-2010 |

20130285272 | CONTAINER MODIFICATIONS TO MINIMIZE DEFECTS DURING REACTIVE POLYURETHANE FLOW - A method of reducing the number or size of voids in a polyurethane comprises reacting the formulation components in a container having an inner surface, or having a liner that has an inner surface, that has been modified to reduce the shear forces that normally accompany introduction of such components into a container. This is done by modifying the inner container's or container liner's surface by profiling and/or engraving it, or by including as a liner a mesh. The profiling and/or engraving or mesh serves to alter the formulation's flow dynamics such that the polyurethane has fewer and/or smaller voids, i.e., has a more uniform density, than polyurethanes formed without the modification. | 10-31-2013 |

A hollow air bag with high toughness is made from elastic material by a first mold, and then injects a filler such as foaming material or filling material into the air bag to form core material that connects to the air bag. The air bag with the core material matches the size and shape of the mold where the air bag with the core material has a feature of smooth surface so that it is covered with composite material such as fiber fabric easily. Next, the air bag with the core material covered by the composite material is set into a third mold to be inflated and heated.
