20080272349Vehicle jack assembly - The present invention is a jack assembly having a first and second upper bracket pivotally connected to a support member and each having at least one strengthening bead and at least one rolled edge. A first lower bracket is pivotally connected to the first upper bracket using a non-threaded trunnion and a bearing through which a threaded rod extends. A second lower bracket is pivotally connected to the second upper bracket using a threaded trunnion through which the threaded rod also extends. The brackets are tapered for strength. The first and second lower brackets are pivotally connected to a base having an enclosed keyhole orifice for storage of the jack assembly. At least one strengthening flange is formed in both the first and second lower bracket.11-06-2008
20100065795SCISSOR JACK - A scissor jack for handling heavy duty work includes four arms hingedly arranged to provide two opposite elbows between a base and a load support, a pair of trunnions, one at each elbow connected by a threaded shaft. One end of the threaded shaft is rotatably engaged in a threaded bush anchored to one elbow on a trunnion to extend beyond the outer corner of the elbow. The jack further includes a movable brace comprising a block slidable on the threaded shaft and carried between a pair of plates which are pivotally secured to the connectors and bent to provide stops for simultaneous location of the arms with spacers on the trunnions to determine the extended position of the jack.03-18-2010
20110001098UTILITY JACK - A utility lift may include a base frame, an upper plate and a plurality of support arms engaged with the base frame and the upper plate. The support arms may include first and second support arms adjustably engaged with the upper plate and third and fourth support arms adjustably engaged with the base frame. An exemplary embodiment may also include a power source connected to an engagement member, where the power source can be adapted to manipulate the engagement member and the engagement member can engage the plurality of support arms.01-06-2011
20110006273Scissor Jack - Scissor jacks are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a scissor jack includes a base, a saddle, a leadscrew, and a pair of arms. Each arm is rotatably coupled to the base and the saddle, and each arm is hinged at an elbow. A locking nut member having a threaded surface complementary to the leadscrew is rotatably coupled to one of the arms. The locking nut member is rotatable between an engaged configuration in which the threaded surface engages the leadscrew and a released configuration in which the threaded surface is disengaged from the leadscrew. The saddle is movable toward or away from the base without rotating the leadscrew while the locking nut member is at the released configuration, and the locking nut member must be at the engaged configuration for rotation of the leadscrew to cause the saddle to move toward or away from the base.01-13-2011
20130075678LOW PROFILE JACK - A jack assembly includes a dual threaded screw with a right-hand-threaded section and a left-hand-threaded section. A first drive member mates with the right-hand-threaded section, and a second drive member mates with the left-hand-threaded section. The drive members drive an extendible platform that moves to an extended position when the screw is moved in a first direction, or a retracted position when the screw is moved in a second, opposite direction.03-28-2013
20150014610SECURING A JACK AND A SPARE WHEEL TO A VEHICLE - A vehicle includes a spare wheel, a jack and a jack wrench. The jack and a jack wrench are provided to raise the vehicle to allow a user to remove a damaged wheel and replace it with the spare wheel. The jack and jack wrench are secured to the vehicle via a first connector. The spare wheel is then secured to the first connector via a second connector. The second connector extends through the spare wheel and into the first connector to secure the spare wheel to the first connector and thus to the vehicle.01-15-2015

20110155978JACK ASSEMBLY FOR RAISING AND LOWERING VEHICLES - The various embodiments herein provide a jack assembly for raising and lowering the vehicles. The assembly comprises a base sheet mounted with two lower arms, a retentive sheet mounted with two upper arms and two shafts. The two upper arms are pivotably connected to the lower arms respectively through the two shafts. A wire rope is passed over a groove provided on a plurality of pulleys rotatably mounted on one of the two shafts. A spanner and a jack handle are provided respectively on the two shafts. When the jack handle is pulled up, the two ends of wire ropes move towards each other to make the two shafts to approach towards each other thereby displacing the lower arms and upper arms to lift the retentive sheet for raising the vehicles with a single pull movement of the jack handle.06-30-2011
20110272650Lifting and Moving Device - A lifting and moving device for assisting a user in applying a force to an implement to move a load. In the practice of the invention, the user moves the load, at least in part, by leaning or shifting their weight. One embodiment of the device includes a bar having a first end and a second end. A bracket is pivotally attached to the bar. The bracket is capable of being coupled to the implement. The first end of the bar acts as a fulcrum for the implement. A strap is attached to the bar and also coupled to the user. Movement of the user, such as by leaning or shifting of their weight, places the strap under tension and provides a force for moving the load. The bar, the strap, the leg, and a foot plate form a four bar linkage that is combined with the Class 1 lever.11-10-2011
