20100051838 | CAPACITY CONTROL VALVE - A capacity control valve includes a solenoid portion; a tube placed in the solenoid portion; and a movable core which forms a slide surface that is fitted to the tube. An actuation rod has a joint portion and a valve body, the joint portion being engaged with an abutting surface of a solenoid rod portion, and the valve body opening or closing a control fluid passage. The joint surface of the solenoid rod portion or the abutting face of the actuation rod has a concave cone-shape surface while the other has a convex cone-shape portion. A bottom face of the concave cone-shape surface is formed as a wide area of either a planar surface or a circular cross section, wherein a head portion of the convex cone-shape portion is truncated to form a truncated cone surface, the truncated cone surface corresponding to the bottom face of the concave cone-shape surface. | 03-04-2010 |

20090272924 | SELF-ALIGNING POPPET VALVE ASSEMBLY - A self-aligning poppet valve assembly is disclosed. The self-aligning poppet valve assembly is disposed within the inner wall of a conduit and comprises a movable sealing member having a poppet guide, a seat portion comprising an inner receptacle adapted to receive the moveable sealing member, a sealing flange adapted to contact the moveable sealing member, thereby selectively inhibiting fluid flow past the moveable sealing member, and a guide receiving portion coupled the poppet guide, and a sealing device surrounding the seat portion and adapted to maintain a seal between the seat portion and the inner wall of the conduit. | 11-05-2009 |
20140175310 | SLIT VALVE ASSEMBLY HAVING A SPACER FOR MAINTAINING A GAP - A spacer for maintaining a gap between a slit valve door and a sealing surface of a slit valve body, such as a metallic insert is described. The spacer can extend the life of a seal by limiting the line of sight exposure of the seal to corrosive gases within a wafer processing chamber, for example, and by controlling the compression percentage of the seal. The spacer may be located on an outer ambient side of the slit valve away from any corrosive gasses that may exist in the chamber. The spacer may be attached to the slit valve door partially in a depression therein, and may be integral with the seal. Further, the present invention provides improvements to a standard slit valve assembly that enhance the effectiveness of the slit valve and the spacer. These improvements include a barrier material to protect the seal, a labyrinth to reduce particle energy, a skew-plane slit valve door, and a recess with sidewalls to continue the geometry of the process chamber in order to move the collision plane away from the seal plane. | 06-26-2014 |
