20080302835DEVICE FOR DISPENSING DOSAGES OF SUBSTANCES IN POWDER- OR PASTE FORM - A dosage-dispensing device has a drive unit and a receiver for a dosage-dispensing unit. The drive unit has a drive shaft. The dosage-dispensing unit has a delivery orifice with a closure element that is disposed in the delivery orifice. The closure element is coupled to the drive shaft when the device is in an operating state. The closure element provides the delivery orifice with an aperture cross-section that varies between a closed position and a maximally open position. To couple the drive shaft to the closure element and to open the delivery orifice, the drive unit linearly advances towards the dosage-dispensing unit. A closure spring holds the closure element in a closed position up to the point of complete coupling. To prevent premature opening of the delivery orifice during the coupling process, the drive shaft has limited linear mobility in a direction away from the dosage-dispensing unit.12-11-2008

20080230568Device for the Metered Removal of Bulk Material - An apparatus for the metered removal of bulk material from a bin is described, the apparatus having a top bulk-material-filling opening and bottom bulk-material-removal opening, comprising a rotor that is connected in a driven manner to at least one sweeping arm disposed inside the bin near the bin's rotationally symmetrical floor and directed towards the removal opening. In order to create an apparatus for the removal of bulk material from a bin in which the mass of the removed bulk material not only can be metered very precisely, but which is also of simple design and easy to maintain, provision is made whereby the sweeping arm is attached on the bottom side of a separating element connected in a driven manner to the rotor, and whereby a settling zone is provided below the separating element in front of the sweeping arm, this zone only being open on one side to the bulk material through a feed opening, and on the other side to the removal opening.09-25-2008

20160040355BIN ARRANGEMENT FOR THE COLLECTING AND DISCHARGING OF SMALLER LIGNO-CELLULOSIC MATERIAL - The bin arrangement is for collecting and discharging smaller ligno-cellulosic material. The bin has a transition part from a circular section of the bin and downwardly to a rectangular section with a long and short side of the rectangular section. The transition part could be built with few wall segments, thus needing less welding. Two rotary pocket feeders, each with at least one shaft extending parallel to the long side, are arranged directly under the rectangular section, enabling a uniform feed from the bin. The use of two rotary pocket feeders with this design directly under the bin does not destroy the even feed of material through the bin part, which otherwise is experienced from using conventional feed screws that feed material in a transverse direction from the bin outlet. The bin does not need to have a complex bin design which converges to a small circular inlet to a conventional rotary pocket feeder.02-11-2016

20080264978Bulk foodstuff dispenser - A bulk foodstuff dispenser for dispensing predetermined amounts of foodstuff from a hopper. An auger is driven by a handle capable of movement in two directions, while a clutch allows movement of the auger in only one direction. The forward movement of the handle causes the auger to rotate and move foodstuff forward to be dispensed. The forward movement of the handle is predetermined by setting a stopper, thereby regulating the amount of rotation of the auger and thus determining the portion of foodstuff to be dispensed. A spring returns the handle to its at rest position, so that the dispensing process may be repeated from the same handle position. Gears between the handle and the auger allow the handle to be pulled in a more ergonomically sound way.10-30-2008
20080314935Dispenser for Laundry Chemicals - Disclosed in this specification is a container and a dispensing mechanism for dispensing various materials into an apparatus such as a laundry machine. The container comprises a dispensing cap that has a static portion and a rotating portion. A relative rotation between the static and rotating portions can be created once the dispensing cap is inserted into a hopper of the dispensing mechanism. This relative rotation discharges the material inside the container into the hopper that in turn discharges the material into a conveyor. The conveyor feeds the material into the apparatus.12-25-2008
20090166384HydraFiller 1000 - A bucket/hopper for moving any fluent solid into a tube, bag, or sock. The bucket/hopper comprises: an elongated hopper having two opposite end portions and an open top side portion; an elongate auger to facilitate non-jamming operation, extending along the bottom portion of the hopper with a free-floating discharge end; a hydraulic drive means positioned adjacent to one end of the hopper and releasably connected to the drive end portion of the auger; a chischarge chute positioned in the other end portion of the hopper encircling the floating discharge end portion of the auger; and means to attach and maneuver the hopper from a long side portion thereof with a pre-manufactured weld-on plate, enabling an operator thereof to view, meter, and accurately position the discharge end of the auger. The auger is driven by a hydraulic pump. The bucket/hopper has dramatically reduced labor required to produce erosion control logs.07-02-2009
20100065587AUGER-DRIVEN POWDER DISPENSER - An apparatus for dispensing granulated powder, such as a fine sugar or sweetener, which uses an auger driven by a gear motor. The gear motor is controlled by a control unit on the front of the dispenser, allowing a user to select the quantity of powder to be dispensed. The apparatus comprises at least one, preferably two dispensing assemblies within the chassis, each comprising a storage bin for the powder, an inclined base, an auger member abutting the base of the storage bin and a dispensing chute. The base of the storage bin is inclined positively toward to the orifice of the dispensing chute, thereby ensuring that the powder is dispensed at a constant rate with minimized dribbling.03-18-2010
