20100101990 | Apparatus and Method for Isolation from and Support of a Carbon Filtration System from an Ion Exchange System - A combination filtration and ion exchange system is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes a valve rotor, a carbon treatment tank, an ion exchange treatment tank and a valve. The valve rotor having a source water inlet, a service water outlet, a water treatment outlet, a water treatment inlet and a drain outlet. The carbon treatment tank having a service inlet and a service outlet, the service inlet coupled to the water treatment outlet. The ion exchange treatment tank having a service inlet and a service outlet, and the service outlet is coupled to the water treatment inlet. The valve having a carbon tank port, an ion exchange port, and a water treatment outlet, and a valve member having a first position and a second position, wherein in the first position, the service inlet of the ion exchange treatment tank is in fluid communication with the service outlet of the carbon treatment tank, and in the second position, the service inlet of the of the ion exchange treatment tank is in fluid communication with the water treatment outlet. | 04-29-2010 |
20100101991 | Method and apparatus for separating and removing fluids from drill cuttings - A method and apparatus is provided for removing fluids, particularly entrained and/or adherent fluids, from drill cuttings created during the well drilling process. An apron assembly collects drill cuttings and deposits such cuttings on a central rotor having multiple distinct chambers. A first chamber is loaded with drill cuttings. The central rotor thereafter cycles to a second position wherein a pressure seal is formed around the loaded first chamber. An air knife or similar device is used to blast compressed gas at the cuttings in the sealed chamber and force the cuttings against a screen. Solid components of the cuttings remain in the sealed chamber, while liquid components pass through the screen and are collected using an auger assembly. Following such separation, the rotor is cycled again, allowing dried cuttings to empty from the first chamber. The process is repeated for each chamber of the rotor. | 04-29-2010 |
20100252494 | FLUID SUPPLY DEVICE AND FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE - A fluid supply device may include a pump device that moves fluid, and a filter device that filters fluid which flows due to operation of the pump device. The pump device may include a pump device housing that comprises a first coupling member which enables the fluid to flow therethrough. The filter device may include a filter device housing that holds a filter element. The filter device housing may have a second coupling member that enables fluid to flow therethrough. The filter device and the pump device may be coupled by a tube member that enables the fluid to flow internally between the pump device and the filter device. Preferably, at least a part of the pump device is interposed between the filter device and the wall such that the pump device overlaps with the filter device in a direction in which the base extends. | 10-07-2010 |
20120152818 | Method and Device for Purifying Nucleic Acids - The invention concerns a method for isolating and purifying nucleic acids from a sample and a device that is suitable therefore. | 06-21-2012 |
20150290384 | ADSORBENT FOR DIALYSIS - A regeneration circuit for regeneration of a dialysis fluid. An inlet and an outlet are arranged to pass a dialysis fluid to and from the regeneration circuit by means of a pump. An adsorbent cartridge is arranged downstream of the pump and comprises an adsorbent made of e.g. activated carbon and an adsorbent made of metal-complexed chitosan and possibly further adsorbents. Downstream of the last adsorbent is arranged a further general adsorbent arranged to adsorb metal ions, such as copper ions, possibly given off by previous adsorbents. Such a general adsorbent is an adsorbent made of uncomplexed chitosan, which adsorb metal ions and does not adsorb physiological electrolytes commonly included in a dialysis fluid, such as sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium ions. | 10-15-2015 |
20150359955 | SUBSTITUTION FLUID PUMP INTEGRATED IN A DIALYSIS MACHINE - A dialysis machine comprising internal fluidics, wherein the internal fluidics includes a dialysis fluid pump for pumping dialysis fluid from a dialysis fluid reservoir through a dialysis fluid feed line to a dialyzer and from the dialyzer through a dialysis fluid drain line to a waste reservoir, a substitution fluid pump for supplying dialysis fluid through a substitution fluid feed line as substitution fluid to an extracorporeal hose system including ports on the patient side and coupling means for connecting the extracorporeal hose system to the internal fluidics is disclosed. | 12-17-2015 |
