20090008286 | Dispenser with a Spout - A dispenser with a spout holds a plurality of objects, such as pharmaceutical dosage forms. The dispenser has a housing defining an interior space that holds the pharmaceutical products and an opening leading to the interior space. A movable spout is disposed in the opening and is able to pivot between a closed position wherein the opening is occluded, or sufficiently occluded, by the spout thereby preventing objects disposed within the interior space from exiting the housing through the opening and an open position wherein the opening is not occluded, or sufficiently unoccluded, by the spout thereby permitting objects disposed within the interior space to exit the housing through the opening. The dispenser also has an opener with a push button for moving the spout from the closed position to the open position about the pivot axis when pressure is applied to the opener wherein the opener engages one end of the spout below the pivot axis to push another end of the spout outward from the housing. | 01-08-2009 |
20090057187 | METHOD OF SELLING DOSAGE FORMS WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION - The invention features a method of selling dosage forms without a prescription by displaying said dosage forms in a container having an asymmetric shape. | 03-05-2009 |
20090236257 | DISPENSING CONTAINER DEVICE - A dispensing container device for dispensing small solids such as pills, tablets, or candy, or liquids such as emulsions, gels, solvents, or aqueous solutions, comprising a base, a cover, and an optional insert placed within the base. The base has a bottom wall, side walls, a front wall with an aperture, and a rear wall, each wall having an upper edge. The cover has an upper wall, side walls, a front wall and a rear wall, each wall having a lower edge. The insert has an upper wall, at least two opposing side walls, a rear wall, and a front wall with an aperture which corresponds with at least some portion of the aperture in the base when the insert is placed within the base. A portion of the upper edge of each base side wall is angled such that the resulting upper edge of the base rear wall is lower than the base front wall. A portion of the lower edge of each cover side wall is angled such that the resulting lower edge of the cover rear wall is higher than the cover front wall. When the cover, base, and insert are assembled, placement of downward pressure on the rear area of the cover upper wall elevates the cover front wall, revealing the aperture in the base front wall, thereby permitting the dispensing of at least some of its contents. The insert is optional but is preferred if the size of the contents of the dispensing device is small enough to “stack” thereby preventing the depression of the cover onto the base. The dispensing container device can also be of various geometric shapes, including but not limited to, multi-sided shapes for example, triangular, rectangular, square, or hexagonal, and curved shapes such as oval, circular, elliptical, or pear shape. | 09-24-2009 |
20090236258 | PHARMACEUTICAL CAPSULE CONTAINER VIAL WITH WINDOW - A pharmaceutical capsule container comprises (i) a novel vial having a closed-bottom window formed from a transparent polymer, and a side-wall formed from a light-blocking polymer, and (ii) a safety cap. The vial is made as one piece by dual injection molding. The window serves as a clear-view window through which a pharmacist may view capsules inside a closed capsule container. In a preferred embodiment the window serves as a magnifying lens for easier recognition of capsule indicia. A pharmacist uses the invention to re-verify the type and strength of the capsules in a filled, closed capsule container against the type and strength specified in the prescription by viewing the capsules in the filled, closed capsule container. The pharmacist holds the capsule container upright and looks up to view the capsules in the container through the window in the bottom of the vial This enables the pharmacist to re-verify a prescription without being required to remove and replace the safety cap every time a prescription is filled. | 09-24-2009 |
20100243510 | Dispensing container device - A triangular dispensing container device for dispensing small solids such as pills, tablets, or candy, or liquids such as emulsions, gels, solvents, or aqueous solutions, comprising a base, a cover, and an insert. The base has a bottom wall and a first, second, and third side walls. The cover has an upper wall and a first, second, and third side walls. The insert also has an upper wall and a first, second, and third side walls. The insert has an aperture which corresponds with at least some portion of the aperture in a base side wall when the insert is placed within the base. When the cover, base, and insert are assembled, placement of pressure on an area of the cover upper wall elevates the cover side wall, revealing the aperture in the base side wall and in the corresponding insert side wall, permitting the dispensing of the device's contents. | 09-30-2010 |
20110062048 | MOISTURE PROOF SEED PACKET - A moisture proof seed package is formed of a moisture proof material for preventing the passage of moisture therethrough wherein all edges of the package are sealed to prevent the passage of moisture therethrough. The moisture proof material can be at least partially formed of PET, at least partially formed of WLDPE, at least partially formed of foil, at least partially formed of CRC1, and at least partially formed of LLDPE. The moisture proof material can be provided on rolls of moisture proof material and printed with UV ink. At least one edge of the moisture proof package can be heat sealed. At least one edge of the moisture proof package can be formed by folding the moisture proof material. The moisture proof package can be date coded. | 03-17-2011 |
20110155626 | PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF RASAGILINE AND SALTS THEREOF - The present invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of Rasagiline or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The present invention also relates to Rasagiline salts, polymorphs thereof and process for preparation thereof. | 06-30-2011 |
