20080271857 | Foldable shades for aircraft cockpits - Disclosed is a system for shielding the interior of an aircraft cockpit. The system utilizes a number of individual shades that can be deployed over the various windshields that make up the canopy of an aircraft cockpit. Each shade has both a substantially flat, deployed configuration and a folded, stowed configuration. In the deployed configuration, the edges of the shade can be secured within the edges surrounding an associated canopy windshield. In this manner the shade is retained adjacent the windshield and is used to reflect sunlight and otherwise protect the internal components of the cockpit from direct sunlight. The shade can be deployed over a windshield in any orientation due to a resilient wire loop that is positioned within a peripheral edge of the shade. In the stowed configuration, the shade is folded over onto itself for storage and transport. The various details of the present invention, and the manner in which they inter-relate, and are described in greater detail hereinafter. | 11-06-2008 |
20090038763 | Curtain Structure - An improved curtain structure comprises a curtain body including a plurality of elongated pieces disposed thereon, a shading member including a plurality of retaining sections and fitting sections formed on the upper and lower ends thereof and having intervals arranged therebetween respectively, since the retaining sections and the fitting sections of the shading member include a plurality of intervals arranged therebetween, and each retaining section includes an opening facing downward, yet each fitting section includes an opening formed thereon, accordingly the retaining sections may be attached onto the upper ends of the elongated pieces directly, and the lower ends of the elongated pieces may be inserted into the fitting sections for a positioning purpose, such that the shading member may be wound in a waved manner along the orderly arranged elongated pieces to couple with the front and back planes of the elongated pieces, thus assembling and disassembling the entire related components easily. | 02-12-2009 |
20160130863 | Light Input-adjustable Window Shade - A light input-adjustable window shade includes a supporting member having first and second ends respectively coupled to a positioning seat and a level fixing device. The level fixing device includes a housing and a transmission unit mounted in the housing. The transmission unit includes a rotational shaft extending beyond the housing. A first end of a spool is rotatably mounted to the positioning seat. A second end of the spool is coupled to the rotational shaft of the level fixing device. A first periphery of a shade body is fixed to and coiled around the spool. The shade body is wound around a rod of a weighting unit. A second periphery of the shade body is fixed to a coupling portion of the supporting member. | 05-12-2016 |

20120073766 | RETRACTABLE SHIELDING APPARATUS - A retractable shielding apparatus includes an adjusting base, a fixing base, two retractable shields, a shuttle, and a cable. The two retractable shields are assembled to two ends of the shuttle respectively with one corresponding end thereof. The adjusting base and the fixing base are respectively fixed to the opposite other end of the corresponding two retractable shields. The cable adjustably connects the adjusting base, the two retractable shields, the shuttle and the fixing base together. The shuttle is slidably located between the adjusting base and the fixing base and is configured to slide along the path formed by the cable, such that the two retractable shields can be extended or retracted together with the shuttle. | 03-29-2012 |
20140251555 | BOGEY - A bogey includes a body having only a single set of support wheels, with one wheel positioned either side of the body. A threaded retainer is arranged for threaded engagement with a shaft of a hanger bolt. The retainer is located in spaced relation from the wheels, whereby the bolt is cantilevered from the body. | 09-11-2014 |
20160032644 | DYNAMIC DESK ACCESSORY DELIVERING ON-DEMAND PRIVACY ON AN OPEN WORK TABLE - A privacy accessory includes a base having a body portion; a retention portion defining a retention edge for releasably securing the base to a work surface; a plurality of frame members secured to the base, each frame member having a first side portion pivotably secured to the base and a second side portion pivotably secured to the base, each of the plurality of frame members telescopically received with an adjacent one of the plurality of frame members in a series that graduate from a smallest one to a largest one, the frame members being sequentially deployable to a first, expanded state by pulling on the largest one and sequentially folded to a second, collapsed state by pushing on the largest one of the plurality of frame members. | 02-04-2016 |
