20120012104Post lipoplasty imbilical support - Using liposuction in abdominal cosmetic surgery gives in most cases, excellent aesthetic results. One problem associated with abdominal liposuction however, is the poor skin retraction just above the umbilicus (belly button) despite the fact that after all liposuction surgeries patients are wearing the compressive garment that is suppose to help with the skin retraction and the final satisfactory cosmetic result. However, in most cases, the umbilicus becomes covered by the surrounding abdominal skin thus, giving the umbilicus an uneven, unpleasant appearance and leaving patients and doctors alike disappointed by the final result.01-19-2012
20160000598Method and Apparatus for Retention of Adipose Tissue - A tissue retention system to assist in maintaining adipose tissue on a patient in a displaced position during a medical procedure to provide access to a body region of the patient includes a flexible anchor pad having a pad length and a pad width. The anchor pad may include a pad body with an adhesive surface thereon, the adhesive being configured to selectively adhere to a patient's skin. The anchor pad also may include an opposing first attachment surface facing away from the adhesive surface. The tissue retention system also may include a flexible tension member having a second attachment surface.01-07-2016
20160100975PANNUS SUPPORT MEMBER - A pannus support member is provided. The pannus support member includes a waist band having a first end, a second end, an inner surface and an outer surface. The waist band is securable about an abdomen such that the pannus is contained and lifted by the waist band away from a target area on the abdomen of a patient. The present invention further includes a pair of shoulder straps each having a first end and a second end secured to the waist band. The pair of shoulder straps are adjustable in length, such that the straps apply a lifting force to the waist band to cause the pannus to be maintained in a lifted position away from the target area. A polymer gripping material attached to the inner surface of the waist band to prevent the waist band from slipping out of position during the therapy.04-14-2016
128970100 Head 1
20160143766Head Gear Assembly and Method - A method for manufacturing a comfortable, wearable headgear device from individual components. At least two of the components are aligned at a first junction, and are welded together at the first junction using radio frequency welding. Additional components are welded to the partially assembled headgear device to comprise a final, comfortable, headgear device. The radio frequency welding results in junctions that do not chafe or become uncomfortable despite prolonged use.05-26-2016
128980100 Perineal 3
20080202505Apparatus and Method of Supporting Patient Tissue - A perianal support device is provided that is configured to inhibit the formation and/or progression of tissue damage in the perianal region of the body. A method is provided to apply the perianal support device to patients during childbirth to inhibit the formation and/or progression of tissue damage in the perianal region of the body.08-28-2008
20100307486Intestinal Tract Pushing Apparatus for Ultrasonic Therapy - The present invention discloses an intestinal tract pushing apparatus for ultrasonic therapy. The intestinal tract pushing apparatus includes a pushing member and an acoustically transparent member. One end of said acoustically transparent member is connected to a buckling strip, and the other end of the acoustically transparent member is connected to an adhesive strip. The acoustically transparent member is bound to the human abdomen by virtue of the adhesive fastening of the buckling strip and the adhesive strip. The pushing member employs a hydraulic system.12-09-2010
20150034074Vulvar Varicosity Supporter - A vulvar varicosity supporter that firmly attaches to an existing maternity support belt or back support belt in such a way that it can provide significant force on the vulva, and, in an embodiment, comprises a pocket for an insertable pad that can increase the pressure on the vulva.02-05-2015
128990100 Support 4
20090255531Portable system for assisting body movement - The present invention provides a differential pressure body suit with external support against body suit migration. In its preferred embodiment, such body suit may comprise a close-fitting, multi-layered suit sealed against a mammal's skin to contain the differential pressure, or a looser-fitting suit that bends at the mammal's joints with minimal force. External support means include either fixed or movable mechanical supports attached to the body suit, extraordinary air pressure levels for making the body suit rigid, or exoskeletons attached to the body suit. A cyclic control system can turn the differential pressure condition within the body suit on and off on a selective basis to accommodate the movement of the legs of the mammal. This differential pressure body suit provides a portable and convenient system for, e.g., rehabilitating a skeletal joint injury or training the mammal for injury prevention or athletic performance. The pressurization reduces the weight of the body to greater or lesser extents, and offloads the weight to the ground through the external support means.10-15-2009
20110253130Bikers lap belt - The Bikers Lap Belt, hereafter known as the belt, was road tested for two (2) years. It was found that when wearing the belt on long motorcycle trips (200 miles or more), the experienced motorcycle rider of about fifty four (54) years of age, found the following to be true: The rider had less muscle fatigue in the upper and lower back, no pain in the hips, and no fatigue in the legs. The motorcycle was easier to control in windy conditions at high speeds, especially when passing large trucks requiring less muscle movement of the legs. Muscle tension was less in all conditions. When riding without the belt, the rider experienced upper back pain and fatigue, substantial hip pain at the end of several hours of riding, and severe overall body fatigue. The belt gives riders the ability to ride longer with more comfort and less joint or muscle pain.10-20-2011
128100100 Belt wholly flexible 1
20130087141BACK SUPPORT BELT - A lumbar support belt is disclosed which circumscribes the waist and lower back of a wearer. The lumbar support belt comprises laterally extending panels, which are themselves circumscribed by laterally extending and interlocking wings which increase tension on the waist. The lumbar support belt prevents injuries to a wearer's lumbar, thoracic, and sacral areas of the back, as well to posterior cartilage and epithelial tissue.04-11-2013

The outer side of each pad is connected to one or more straps having a first and corresponding second end. A fastener is attached to the first end of each strap and a corresponding second fastener attaches to the second end of each strap. The apparatus also includes a constricting device (such as a ratchet) located on or proximate to one pad sufficient to create a compression force through each strap when the first and corresponding second fasteners connect to one another. The corresponding method includes the steps of placing one or more pads proximate to the hips, affixing each pad to each strap, connecting both ends of the straps to each other and creating necessary compression.07-09-2009
