20080236558 | PAINTBALL LOADER SYSTEMS - A paintball loader system designed to efficiently deliver paintballs to a paintball gun. The drive mechanism is a screw-type design comprising a resilient auger. A microcontroller is programmed to automatically adjust the rotation of the auger based on data from multiple sensor points within the loader. The auger is mounted such that both rotational axial movements are enabled during operation. The axial movement of the auger is used to maintain a constant force on the paintballs awaiting loading within the paintball gun. | 10-02-2008 |
20080257327 | ROTARY TRANSFER DEVICE FOR A PAINTBALL MARKER - The rotary transfer device assembly of the present invention has a cylindrical-shaped rotary transfer device, which rotates about a central shaft. About the circumference of the rotary transfer device are a number of chambers, each of which can accept a single projectile as it passes through a feed aperture. As the rotary transfer device rotates, it transports the projectiles from the feed aperture to the breech from where the projectile can be launched from the barrel of the launching device. | 10-23-2008 |
20090139507 | Magazine for air gun having rotary clip - There has been a problem that a projected part of a rear part of a pellet gets stuck with an end side of an attachment wall and rotation is interrupted when a rotary clip moves from a hit pin concave to an end side (i.e., attachment wall) of a magazine main body if the rear end of a pellet in a bore projects from a bore. In order to resolve the problem, there is proposed a magazine main body | 06-04-2009 |
20090151710 | Ammunition chain for toy projectiles - A link for a toy ammunition chain made up of a plurality of links hinged together side-by-side in articulated fashion includes a cylindrical body adapted to receive a soft projectile. A first hinge component extends laterally from the body and has a pair of hinge pins. A second hinge component extends laterally from the body at a position opposite the first hinge component and has a pair of recesses each for pivotally receiving a hinge pin of an adjacent link in the chain. | 06-18-2009 |
20090211562 | PAINTBALL LOADER - A paintball loader for supplying a plurality of substantially similar paintballs a paintball marker. The loader comprises a housing adapted to receive the plurality of paintballs, the housing defining a feeder tube in a base thereof, the feeder tube dimensioned to allow single passage of the paintballs, a paintball receiving member comprising an elongate receiving channel spiraling radially outward in a direction of rotation from the feeder hole and having an outlet adjacent the feeder tube, the channel comprising a pair of opposing side walls spaced to allow single passage of the paintballs, and a feeder arm positioned across at least a portion of the channel walls such that the feeder arm comes into contact with one of the plurality of the paintballs when in the channel. The channel is rotatable relative to the feeder arm about the feeder hole in the direction of rotation. | 08-27-2009 |
20090314272 | Cylindrical magazine for discharging projectiles for toy guns - A preloadable, swappable and reloadable cylindrical magazine for rubber band and slingshot guns. Exhausted magazines can be replaced in seconds, allowing extended shooting. The release mechanism of projectiles is self-contained; no trigger as it is understood is required, making it particularly suitable in the design of Gatling guns. Hooks in front and fingers at rear engage energized projectiles. The rotation of the magazine causes fingers to tilt forward and projectiles to free themselves by sliding up the tilted fingers without outside disturbances, assuring the best shooting accuracy ever. A pawl and a ratchet wheel control the rotation of magazines. Depending on how long the pawl is disengaged, single shots or continuous firing is equally easy to execute. The successive firing rate is determined by how fast the magazine can rotate. Modular design allows through combinations of components numerous configurations for different sizes and numbers of elastic bands and various designs of toy guns. | 12-24-2009 |
20100095942 | PAINTBALL LOADER - A paintball loader which feeds paintballs to a paintball marker has a rotor body and a drive motor for rotating the rotor body. The paintball loader can include a latch member for selectively securing an upper shell member to a lower shell member. The paintball loader can include a ramp member inside the upper and lower shell members. The ramp member moves between a first or flattened position and a second or raised position to facilitate operation of the loader. The components of the loader are designed so that assembly/disassembly is performed with few, if any, tools to facilitate cleaning and/or maintenance. | 04-22-2010 |
20110041823 | TOY DART MAGAZINE APPARATUS - A toy dart magazine apparatus that includes a housing divided into a drum portion and a clip portion, and a wheel structure rotatably mounted to the drum portion. The wheel has four portions, two spaced apart portions having peripheral recesses for receiving the darts and storing them until they are “fired” by a launcher to which the dart magazine apparatus is mounted. A third portion having a smooth circumference and a smaller diameter than the two recess bearing portions wherein the third portion separates the two spaced apart portions. The fourth portion of the wheel has a larger diameter than the two recess bearing portions and is positioned adjoining one of the two recess bearing portions for aligning the darts relative to the wheel. The wheel also includes an opening in the third portion leading to a chamber in a hollow support of the wheel. A spring-biased knob is mounted on a shaft that also mounts the wheel. Both the knob and the wheel have axially align protrusions that may engage each other to allow the wheel to be rotationally adjusted to correct any jam or misalignment of the darts stored on the wheel. A flexible arm and a pusher structure are also included with the magazine apparatus and are connected to a constant force spring, where the flexible arm and a portion of the constant force spring are lodged in the chamber of the hollow support during a dart loading process of the wheel, and the constant force spring uncoils when the wheel is rotated during the loading process. The constant force spring biases the wheel to feed the darts from both the drum and the clip to a firing position at the end of the clip located in the launcher, but the constant force spring is insufficient to discharge the darts when the magazine is not connected to the launcher. | 02-24-2011 |
20150122240 | AUTOMATIC BALL FEEDER FOR A PITCHING MACHINE - A game ball feeder for delivering balls to a game ball throwing machine. The game ball feeder includes a base, a support frame attached to the base, a drive mechanism attached to the support frame, and a support rod attached to the support frame. A rotatable ball housing operatively engages the support rod, is mounted in a substantially horizontal configuration, and includes a plurality of cylindrical shaped ball holding sections. Each ball holding section can include a wall defining an entry opening and an exit opening with the entry opening positioned vertically higher than the exit opening. A transfer path can be operatively attached to a support frame and aligned to accept a ball from one of the exit openings. Further, a ball indexing element can be shaped and positioned to control the movement of the balls within at least one of the ball holding sections. | 05-07-2015 |
