20140116407 | COMBINED CENTERFIRE SLINGBOW AND QUIVER - A compact slingbow/quiver combination including first and second arms joined by a generally central cross piece. Slingbow arms are interconnected by at least one latex band for projecting arrows. Central cross piece includes an internal centerfire aperture for receiving arrows for launching. A rest and guide element with pliable bristles is secured within the centerfire aperture to support arrows without damage to fletching. The band includes an intermediate nocking segment adjustably positioned at the centerfire aperture to engage arrow nocks. Slingbow arms include internal storage chambers. At least one chamber is configured as a quiver for arrow storage; other chamber(s) may store other items for the archer. The central cross piece projects rearwardly of the slingbow where it (1) receives an arrow for launch and (2) absorbs band impact thus avoiding wrist slap. Slingbow arms and central cross piece may be conveniently and inexpensively constructed from detachable polyvinylchloride conduit elements. | 05-01-2014 |
20150323279 | ARROW QUIVER - A combined stabilizer/quiver for a bow is provided that may store arrows and may also function as a stabilizer. The combined stabilizer/quiver may comprise a shaft that extends forward from the front side of a bow and functions as a stabilizer, and arrows may be disposed substantially parallel to the shaft and contribute to the stabilizing function. With two components combined into one, the bow has less weight, improved accuracy and precision, and greater versatility. Alternatively, a quiver is provided which is adapted to attach to a conventional stabilizer which is attached to a riser of a bow. | 11-12-2015 |
20160047619 | Combined Centerfire Slingbow and Quiver - In one embodiment, a compact slingbow/quiver combination includes first and second arms joined by a generally central cross piece. Slingbow arms form first and second elongate storage chambers which are used to create a shared elongate storage chamber within the slingbow. The shared elongate storage chamber may be used for storing items such as arrows. Other embodiments are also disclosed. | 02-18-2016 |

20080236556 | Fall-away arrow rest - Fall away arrow rests for archery bows. The rests have an arm with an arrow-supporting feature and an arm-associated axle which pivots the arm to displace the arrow-supporting feature between a first, arrow-loading position and a second, more elevated, arrow-launching position. The arrow support arm can be adjusted vertically, laterally, and in fore-and-aft directions relative to a riser or other rigid bow component on which the rest is mounted. Radial arms rotatable with the axle and connectable to a buss cable or cable slide by a flexible link rotate the arm to elevate the arrow-supporting feature to its arrow-launching when the bow is drawn and offer further adjustment of the arrow rest operation. A coil spring installed in an axle housing returns the arrow-supporting feature to its first, loading position concomitantly with arrow launch, moving the support out of the path the arrow travels as it leaves the bow. Axle-associated stops automatically stop the arm-associated axle as the arrow-supporting feature respectively reaches its arrow-launching and arrow-loading positions. One or more dampers can be advantageously attached to arrow rest structural members to reduce shock and vibrations, including noise, as the arrow support arm displaces the arrow-supporting feature between its first and second positions, especially as an arrow is launched from the bow. Noise reduction can be furthered by a installing a Teflon or comparable component on the arrow-supporting feature of the arm and/or by installing an elastomeric pad on the rigid bow component in the path followed by the arrow-supporting feature as that feature approaches its arrow-loading position. | 10-02-2008 |
20110186024 | Bow and arrow - A bow-and-arrow set includes a bow, a buffer, a string and an arrow. The bow includes a pipe inserted through an aperture defined therein. The buffer is located in the pipe. The string is tied to the bow. The arrow includes a pile, a pile and a body formed between the pile and the butt. The pile is movable in the pipe while the butt is movable against the string so that the string can shoot the arrow and move the pile within the pipe on releasing of the butt. The buffer can encounter and buffer the pile. | 08-04-2011 |
