20080271678 | Adjustable Animal Watering System - The assemblies of the invention are suitable for mounting to, or being an integral part of, an animal enclosure such that the height of a valve-controlled liquid outlet may be adjusted according to the changing needs of growing animals. The adjustable liquid delivery assemblies comprise an elongated rail, a liquid delivery unit having at least one liquid delivery head slideably engaged with the elongated rail, a flexible liquid delivery tube for connecting a liquid delivery head to a liquid source, and a means for securing the liquid delivery unit at a selected position on the elongated rail. The liquid delivery system may further comprise a retaining rail. A means for securing the liquid delivery unit at a selected position on the elongated rail may comprise a linear series of holes disposed along the length of the rail, each hole traversing the elongated rail, and a peg configured to pass through a hole of the series of holes and extend beyond the elongated rail to prevent the liquid delivery head from passing beyond the position of the peg. The means for securing the liquid delivery unit at a selected position on the elongated rail can also be a frictional force between the elongated rail and the liquid delivery unit, or between the retaining rail and the liquid delivery unit, a spring, or a spring clamp. The assemblies may further comprise a means to attach the liquid delivery assembly to an animal enclosure such as, but not limited to, securing member having a securing nut and bolt assembly or a spring clamp mounted thereon. | 11-06-2008 |
20090173283 | Flow Control Device - A flow control mechanism/device is provided for regulating the flow of fluid from a container or vessel, e.g., a plastic bottle containing a fluid such as water or the like. The flow control mechanism may be advantageously employed in a variety of applications where it is desired to dispense and/or access fluids in a controlled manner, e.g., applications wherein a liquid, colloidal system, suspension or the like is to be dispensed/accessed in a controlled manner. The flow control mechanisms are particularly advantageous as animal/pet drinking aids that provide animals/pets with convenient and controlled access to fluid refreshment, e.g., when away from a home-based water bowl. An exemplary control mechanism includes an inner cap member, an overcap member, and a ball captured therebetween. The overcap member is adapted for axial translation relative to the inner cap member, thereby facilitating one-handed manipulation. Adapters may be provided to facilitate mounting of the disclosed flow control mechanism/device relative to containers/vessels of differing design/geometry. A releasable locking mechanism may be provided to prevent the flow control mechanism/device from becoming inadvertently operational. | 07-09-2009 |
20090205575 | Pet Watering Device - A pet watering device is shown with down spouts from an enclosed container for water. The enclosed container has a removeable top with a spring loaded door therein for refilling the container. Each down spout has a ball and seat valve at the lower end thereof which the pet can push with its tongue to get water. The enclosed container is mounted in a frame that may be adjusted vertical. One way of adjusting is with telescoping legs. Another way of adjusting is with a slot hooking over a wall mounted upward channel. | 08-20-2009 |
20100116213 | LIQUID DELIVERY DEVICES - The present teachings provide liquid delivery devices that can be adaptive to animals' natural drinking habit, can be used for efficiently feed liquid to animals, and can be easily carried by animal owners. The present teachings also provide devices and equipments that include the liquid delivery devices as described herein. The present teachings further provide methods for preparing and using the liquid delivery devices and the devices and equipments that include the liquid delivery devices. | 05-13-2010 |

20100218726 | Animal water bottle cap dispenser device - The present invention is an animal and pet water bottle cap dispenser device, used in combination with a water bottle with a bottle top to dispense water to an animal or pet. The device has a flanged attachment sleeve, a flanged vertical middle sleeve and a dispersion ball that is set on the top surface of the vertical middle sleeve as water from the bottle runs internally through the sleeves and around the sides of the dispersion ball to the animal or pet for dispersed drinking. There is also a second cap, that is threadedly and removably integral with the middle sleeve, for covering the dispersion ball and the device, while the device is not in use. The device can be easily disassembled, separated, sterilized, sanitized and reassembled for sterilized or sanitary pet or animal usage, is dishwasher safe and is choke-free. | 09-02-2010 |
20100282174 | Flow Control Device - A flow control device is provided for regulating the flow of fluid from a container. An exemplary control mechanism includes an inner cap member, an overcap member, and a ball captured therebetween. The overcap member is adapted for axial translation relative to the inner cap member, thereby facilitating one-handed manipulation. Adapters may be provided to facilitate mounting of the disclosed flow control device relative to containers of differing geometry. A releasable locking mechanism may be provided to prevent the flow control device from becoming inadvertently operational. | 11-11-2010 |
20100313817 | PET WATER BOTTLE - A water bottle for pets comprises a stainless steel canister, a liquid dispenser, a removable screw cap. The canister is used for containing water and has a closed end and an open end. Threads are positioned near the open end of the canister. The removable dispenser has threads for engaging the threads near the open end of the canister and a pet-operable drink valve. The removable screw cap selectively covers and uncovers the pet-operable drink valve. | 12-16-2010 |
20130125824 | Platform associated with various water treatment and replenishment devices - A easily removable platform like structure with various access holes and openings that is located above a water supply that provides a path to the water to allow the passage and support of devices to treat water and maintain a predefined water level. | 05-23-2013 |
20130206074 | FLUID DELIVERY VALVE SYSTEM AND METHOD - A cage-mounted fluid delivery system for delivering a fluid from a water source, such as a fluid bag or an automatic water system, to animals housed in cages in high density caging systems may comprise a fluid delivery valve assembly, wherein the fluid delivery valve assembly is adapted to be coupled to the water source to facilitate the provision of fluid to animals housed in the cages. The cage-mounted fluid delivery valve assembly may further comprise a valve body and end cap, which may be joined together, that define a fluid channel. The cage-mounted fluid delivery valve assembly may further comprise sealing elements, a spring element, and an interior stem disposed at least in part in the fluid channel to open and close the fluid channel. | 08-15-2013 |
