20080264125Lock assembly with an improved burglarproof lock core - A lock assembly with an improved burglarproof lock core has a casing, a lock core and multiple outer chambers. The casing is mounted in a lock device and has a core hole and multiple outer chambers. The lock core is mounted in the core hole and has multiple inner chambers and a keyhole. The inner chambers correspond to the outer chambers in the casing. Each locking pin assembly is mounted slidably in the corresponding outer and inner chambers and has an inner and outer locking. The inner locking pins are flush with the inner chamber when the lock device is unlocked, and at least one inner locking pin is magnetic. The outer locking pin corresponding to the magnetic locking pin is held to ensure that the lock assembly won't be unlocked when someone attempts to tap the locking pin assemblies to pick the lock device.10-30-2008
20090013739Entry door security device - A security device is disclosed for use with an entry door lock accessible from an exterior side of the door and having a rotatable element on an interior side of the door for engaging and disengaging the lock. A lock stop precludes rotation by providing a pair of spaced stop members that receive the rotatable element in its locked position and prevent rotation thereof to its unlocked position, whereby unlocking the door from the exterior side is precluded.01-15-2009
20090235704DEADBOLT LOCK KNOB RESISTOR - A deadbolt knob restrictor used to prevent the rotation of the inside knob on the deadbolt lock. The restrictor includes a ring member designed to fit between the cover plate located on the inside surface of the door. Attached to the ring member are two perpendicularly aligned support arms with a pin-style hinge formed on their distal ends. Attached to the hinge is an L-shaped latch. Formed on the latch is a cam surface which presses against a spring loaded piston disposed between the cam surface and the support arm. The latch includes a long leg that may be disposed transversely over the ring member, and a short leg that may be placed adjacent to the wide surface of the deadbolt lock's turn knob to prevent its rotation. During assembly, the ring member is placed under the locks inside cover plate. During use the piston forcibly holds the latch in a locked or unlocked position against the turn knob. The latch may be rotated in the opposite direction so that the turn knob is free to rotate to the unlock position.09-24-2009
20160186459KEY - A key for operating a mechanical lock, which key includes a head portion for holding by a user, a lock-engaging portion for inserting into the lock for operating the lock by the application of a turning force, and a joining portion between the head portion and the lock-engaging portion and fixing the head portion to the lock-engaging portion. The joining portion includes a shape memory material, which reversibly deforms without breakage when a first turning force on the key is exceeded, where the first turning force is lower than a second turning force. The second turning force being a turning force which if exceeded causes breakage of the lock-engaging portion or the head portion. The shape memory material may exhibit a superelastic effect in which the shape is restored when the turning force ceases, or shape memory effect in which the shape is restored on heating above a state-transition temperature.06-30-2016

20090078010Break-In Resistant Cylinder for Locks - A break-in resistant cylinder for locks, comprising a stator provided with a substantially cylindrical longitudinal cavity for accommodating a rotor with a longitudinal recess for the insertion of a key. The rotor and the stator comprise a plurality of channels which are substantially aligned and face each other (when the cylinder is in the closed configuration); the channels accommodate respective coding pins, tumbler pins and any elastic elements designed to prevent the rotation of the rotor within the stator if the key is not present in the longitudinal recess. At least one of the tumbler pins comprises a bush and a spike; the stem of the spike has a smaller diameter than the inside diameter of the bush and is longer than the bush. The spike is arranged so that its head is directed toward the bottom of the channel of the stator and rests against the elastic elements and the free end of the stem rests against the lower surface of the coding pin. The lower surface of the bush rests against the collar of the head of the spike proximate to the coupling of the stem.03-26-2009
20140144193CYLINDER GUARD FOR DEADBOLT LOCK - A cylinder guard for a deadbolt lock having a face portion and an inner portion. The inner portion includes a radial flange and an axial flange created by forming the wall of the guard into a doubled portion. Indentations are formed in the axial flange which enhances the resistance of the guard to an attack upon the deadbolt. The guard also includes a tapered blow-deflecting portion between the inner portion and face portion. A crush zone may be formed between the inner and face portions to attenuate the energy from an attack that is transferred to the axial and radial flanges. A method for making the guard includes stamping a body from steel strip using a multi-station press.05-29-2014

20160053513Tamper-Resistant Locking Systems and Methods - The present disclosure is a locking system that has an opening in a door adapted an arranged for receiving a lock bolt and a lock fixed in a wall for actuating a lock bolt adapting and arranged for being received by the opening in the door when the door is closed. The locking system further comprises a blocking strip protruding from a door jamb, the strip coupled to the door jamb and positioned adjacent the lock bolt for blocking access to the lock bolt between the door and the door jamb.02-25-2016

20090013740Safety lever deadbolt lock - My invention is to provide a new and useful apparatus for preventing the rotation of a key to open a deadbolt lock or the lock to be picked. By manufacturing the faceplate on the inside of the door out of solid metal. This would allow a slot to be machined in the face plate where I could put in a lever with a pivot screw, allowing the lever to be pulled out keeping the knob from turning and the dead bolt lock from unlocking. This may also be used on a side garage door or any entrance door to a home.01-15-2009
20100024497LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH PICKING RESISTANT SHIELD - A lock assembly with a picking resistant shield has a main lock and a key. The main lock has a shield attached to a front end of the main lock. The shield has an inner recess and an outer recess smaller than the inner recess. The key has a neck corresponding to the outer recess of the shield and a driving tube corresponding to the inner recess of the shield and is selectively mounted into the shield to unlock the main lock. Thus, the shield prevents the main lock from being picked from the front end of the main lock by a picking tool. Personal goods or private matters being protected by the lock assembly with the picking resistant shield are safe.02-04-2010

20080223095Locking System With Hidden Keyed Access - The present invention provides a locking system that is more secure and theft resistant than traditional key and cylinder systems. A hidden locking system is provided where access to the locking mechanism is hidden from view and cannot be rotated or engaged by screwdrivers, pens or other common tools. In another aspect the present a primary and all related secondary locking systems on an object such as a bicycle. In a further aspect the present invention provides lockup in applications where large and bulky key and cylinder systems are not possible or practical.09-18-2008
20100326149Lock Device Having A Hidden Locking Unit - A lock device includes a locking unit, a protective unit surrounding the locking unit, and a key unit extending through the protective unit and engaging the locking unit to lock or unlock the locking unit. The locking unit includes a lock head and a lock core. The protective unit includes a rotation member and a follower. The locking unit is sandwiched between the rotation member and the follower. The rotation member has a central portion provided with a passage aligning with the lock core and has a peripheral wall provided with an opening connected to the passage. Thus, the locking unit is hidden in the protective unit to prevent the lock core from being exposed from the protective unit so that a person cannot see the inner construction of the lock core and cannot unlock the lock core easily.12-30-2010
