20120103030 | HASP SEAL LOCK ASSEMBLY - A hasp seal lock assembly includes a base member that is attached via a hinge to a cover member. The cover member, when rotated such that the cover member engages the base member, is functionally adapted to overlay a latch and seal. The base member and the cover member each have a plurality of apertures defined in adjacent side walls that allow the horizontal latch arm to extend through the assembly. The base member and the cover member also include a second plurality of cooperating apertures whereby the base member and the cover member may be locked together by use of a padlock. In a first preferred embodiment, each cover side wall includes a tab and tab-receiving apertures are defined within the base member. The tabs require that the cover be lifted vertically prior to rotation of the cover member about the base member. | 05-03-2012 |
20130239627 | HASP SEAL LOCK ASSEMBLY - An improved hasp seal lock assembly includes a base member that is attached via a hinge to a cover member. The cover member can be rotated approximately 180° from a fully “closed” position, which is when it overlays a latch and seal, to a fully “open” position. The base member and the cover member each have a plurality of apertures defined in adjacent side walls that allow the horizontal latch arm to extend through the assembly. The base member and the cover member also include a second plurality of cooperating apertures whereby the base member and the cover member may be locked together by use of a padlock. In the preferred embodiment, each cover side wall includes a tab and tab-receiving apertures are defined within the base member. The tabs require that the cover be lifted vertically prior to rotation of the cover member about the base member. | 09-19-2013 |
20140283565 | Luggage Locking Apparatus and Method - The present invention is directed to a luggage security apparatus, and methods of using the same. The apparatus includes a flexible strap including a first end, a second end, a first connector and a second connector, wherein the first connector is positioned proximal to the first end and the second connector is positioned proximal to the second end; and an engagement structure positioned on the flexible strap between the first end and the second end. The first end is capable of being folded around the stationary handle of the luggage and the first connector removably engaged with the engagement structure, and the second end is capable of being folded around the telescopic handle of the luggage and the second connector removably engaged with the engagement structure. | 09-25-2014 |
20140352368 | SECURITY DEVICE FOR ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS IN A CONDUIT - A bracket encircles a conduit or lamp post and includes an opening for access to a cover attached to the conduit or lamp post and serves as a security device to prevent access to the electrical conductors behind the cover. A removable plate having a bottom edge engaged within a channel extends across the opening of the bracket. A tang extends from the bracket for penetrable engagement with a slot in the plate. An aperture in the tang extending through the plate is engageable with the shackle of a lock to preclude removal of the plate. | 12-04-2014 |
20150075231 | LOCK DEVICE - The present invention discloses a casing that has a generally cylindrical configuration having a bottom side that includes a bottom side cavity. The bottom side has a topography that is generally a negative topography of a surface of an article with which the bottom side associates. The topography of the bottom side is defined by a plurality of offset surfaces that define raised edges, with the offset surfaces and resulting raised edges forming reliefs. | 03-19-2015 |

20080216524 | Locking device and method for securing cargo containers during transport and storage that permits secure inspection of any authority seal - A locking device for securing the doors of a tractor trailer or other cargo container during storage or transport where the locking device is mounted over the latching mechanism of the closing bar movably mounted on the doors of the trailer or container. The locking device includes an enclosure having an outward facing or front panel, side panels, a top panel with two holes formed therein, a partial back panel, and a back side partially open for mounting over the closing bar latching mechanism. The locking device also includes a tubular lock body securely attached to the interior of the partial back panel of the enclosure, and a U-shaped latch rod for inserting through the holes in the top panel of the enclosure into the lock body within the enclosure following the positioning of the enclosure over the latching mechanism of the closing bar. Once the enclosure is mounted and securely held in place by the insertion of the latch rod into the lock body, the operator then uses a key to lock the locking device in a locked position protecting the latching mechanism. Following installation, the locking device not only securely locks the doors of the container/trailer but also protects any authority seal placed over the locking mechanism to prevent theft or tampering. The front panel of the locking device also has a centrally located opening formed therein which permits the transporter or an inspection authority to inspect quickly and easily the sealed locking mechanism to insure that the seal has not been broken or subjected to tampering. | 09-11-2008 |
