20090145031 | French door hinge system for oven - A french door oven includes a body defining a cooking chamber with an open mouth. First and second doors are respectively connected to the body adjacent opposite first and second opposite lateral sides of the mouth and are adapted to pivot about respective first and second vertical pivot axes between an opened position in which the first and second doors are pivoted away from the mouth and a closed position in which the first and second doors cover the mouth and define a seam between their adjacent respective inner edges. The oven includes a door movement control system for controlling movement of the doors between their opened and closed positions. The door movement control system includes a door movement control plate including a door movement slot including an inner portion and an outer portion, the outer portion closer to the mouth than the inner portion. The door movement control system further includes a door movement control linkage with first and second door links. The first and second door links include: (i) respective outer ends operatively engaged with the first and second doors; and, (ii) respective first and second inner ends operatively engaged with the door movement slot. The door movement control linkage also includes a pivot link operatively engaged with the first and second door links such that pivoting movement of the pivot link corresponds to movement of the inner ends of the first and second door links relative to the slot, wherein the pivot link pivots about a pivot axis between: (i) a first position in which the inner ends of the first and second door links are engaged with the inner portion of the door movement slot; and, (ii) a second position in which the inner ends of the first and second door links are engaged with the outer portion of the door movement slot. A spring and/or a motor or other powered actuator is operably coupled to the pivot link to bias and/or move same. The powered actuator includes a control system with a user-input switch. | 06-11-2009 |

20090090063 | ENTRANCE CONTROL SYSTEM - An entry control apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a pair of spaced barriers forming a pathway therebetween. The barriers are positioned adjacent a doorway to control ingress into and egress from a building or the like. An arm is pivotally mounted and extends across the pathway and permits free movement of people in one direction and selectively restricts movement in the other direction. A motion sensor is provided and a motion control system is associated with the sensor. The sensor and motion control system cooperate to selectively allow the arms to move to a normally open position for normal traffic in an approved direction. In the event a person approaches the apparatus, as if to exit, or move in the wrong direction through the pathway, the sensor detects the movement and effects operation of the motion control system that locks the arm against movement to prevent movement through the passageway. An alarm system can be provided to alert personnel that an unauthorized movement through the pathway may be underway. | 04-09-2009 |
20120085032 | Method And Arrangement For Opening And Closing A Suspended Ceiling Of An Elevator Car, And Locking Device - The object of the invention is a method and an arrangement for opening and closing a suspended ceiling or corresponding of an elevator car and also a locking device. The suspended ceiling or corresponding is supported in place at least partly by one or more locking devices. In the method the suspended ceiling or corresponding is opened from its locking and lowered away from its position and fixed again into its position. In the opening phase of the suspended ceiling the locking devices supporting the suspended ceiling are pre-tuned into a state where the suspended ceiling continues to stay in place in the upper position and after pre-tuning the suspended ceiling is released from its locking by lifting the suspended ceiling first upwards and after this by letting the suspended ceiling lower downwards. | 04-12-2012 |

20130219789 | TWO-STAGE LINKED SLIDING DOOR OF MACHINE TOOL - A two-stage linked sliding door of a machine tool is provided with a first door half and a second door half movable through different strokes. Pulleys are disposed individually at two opposite end portions of the second door half, and a wire is stretched between the pulleys. The opposite end portions of the wire are secured to the door frame or the first door half by two wire tensioning springs, individually, such that the opposite end portions face each other. These two springs are juxtaposed and offset with each other so that their respective central axes do not line on the same axis. | 08-29-2013 |
20140259933 | DOOR COORDINATOR ACCESSORY MOUNTING BRACKET - An accessory mounting bracket for securing door accessories to a door coordinator. The accessory mounting bracket has stepped portions that define a channel that is sized to receive a door coordinator. A recess is disposed below the channel and provides an offset for fasteners that mount the door coordinator to a door frame and may protrude from the door coordinator. A set of bores are used to attach the accessory mounting bracket to the door coordinator and a soffit of the door, while a second bores, which are threaded, allows for attachment of a door accessory to the accessory mounting bracket. The second bores are formed in the accessory mounting bracket so as to be spaced apart from the door coordinator. | 09-18-2014 |
