20120102817Environmentally friendly granite fishing lures, jigs, weights, and inserts - Fishing lures, weights, and inserts having bodies formed from natural granite chosen from granites having differing densities and colors. Surfaces of the body may selectively be polished or left unpolished. Fishing weights and inserts depend on a high density material, commonly lead, to provide mass to help sink an otherwise buoyant structure to a desired depth. Lead, a toxic material and a hazard when released into the environment, is completely eliminated by the granite structures. The porosity, especially of light colored granite, allows its use as a delivery vehicle for fish attractants that are readily absorbed into the relatively porous material, especially when such material is left unpolished.05-03-2012

The fishing lure also includes a hook coupled to a distal end of the elongate body, and an eyelet assembly coupled to a proximal end of the elongate body. Various flash materials (e.g., beads, a spoon, etc.) in combination with the prongs of the semiconductor integrated circuit shaped body stimulate the fish's natural instinct to strike. In one embodiment, the body actually comprises a semiconductor integrated circuit.10-31-2013
20130298442FISHING LURE - A fishing lure is provided which is adapted to simulate the behavior of a minnow at rest. Specifically, the new and improved fishing lure described herein is equipped with a pedestal on its bottom, whereby the pedestal is adapted to make contact with a bottom surface at a single contact point. The single contact point is aligned with the lure's center of balance, such that when the lure rests on the bottom surface it has a tendency to remain balanced on the single contact point. This allows the lure to be wobbled by the water turbulence, thereby imitating the behavior of a minnow at rest.11-14-2013
20130333272Material application to fishing lures possessing temperature sensitive chromaticity vicissitude creating a color changing fishing lure or rubber bait - The process by which materials are applied to a plastic fishing lure surface, thus producing a lure that possesses chromatic vicissitude as a result of water temperature fluctuations. At the onset of this process, a non-thermochromatic base layer of one or more colours is applied to the plastic fishing lure. This layer acts as the visual appearance of the fishing lure in the absence of temperature fluctuations. Clear extender is then used as an additive to the thermochromatic ink. This addition to the ink then allows the ink to be sprayed onto the surface of the lure. This ink-extender amalgam can be applied in multiple layers however; the bottom layer must have the least amount of hue saturation. Each layer thereafter would increase in hue saturation. Multiple hue combinations can be utilized. Once the desired number of thermochromatic layers has been applied, an ultra clear super high gloss lacquer finish is sprayed on to the exterior of all layers.12-19-2013

20140173968Fishing lure - A fishing lure generally including a weighted body portion surrounding the front half of the shank of a hook, a relatively flat spoon portion extending rearward from a lower surface of the body portion, an artificial worm holding barb on the rear end of the body and a feather holding rim just forward of the worm holding barb. The configuration of the body tends to keep the spoon below the hook as the bait is pulled through the water. The hooked portion and the point of the hook extend upward perpendicularly above the surface of the spoon. The weight distribution and general shape of the lure prevents spinning but encourages a more natural and fish attracting side to side motion of the lure while being pulled through the water.06-26-2014

The lure is in the shape of a rodent or other small creature and has a body coated with fur and a tail composed of a strip of fur. The lure has protruding concave shaped ears. The fur and the ears cause water through which the lure travels to flow outwardly from the body and to cause turbulence in the water.05-28-2015
20150351373MATERIAL APPLICATION TO FISHING LURES POSSESSING TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE CHROMATICITY VICISSITUDE CREATING A COLOR CHANGING FISHING LURE OR RUBBER BAIT - A process where materials are applied to a plastic fishing lure surface, producing a lure that possesses chromatic vicissitude as a result of water temperature fluctuations. A non-thermochromatic base layer of one or more colors is applied to the plastic fishing lure. This layer acts as the visual appearance of the fishing lure in the absence of temperature fluctuations. Clear extender is then used as an additive to the thermochromatic ink. This addition to the ink then allows the ink to be sprayed onto the surface of the lure. This ink-extender amalgam can be applied in multiple layers however the bottom layer must have the least amount of hue saturation. Each layer thereafter would increase in hue saturation. Multiple hue combinations can be utilized. Once the desired number of thermochromatic layers has been applied, an ultra-clear super high gloss lacquer finish is sprayed on to the exterior of all layers.12-10-2015

Inner surfaces of the hub sections at each end of the hub assembly are formed with a plurality of concave cavities arranged in a circular pattern intended to engage the detents as the hub sections are rotated about the central axis. The hub assembly may thus be selectively rotated and upon the spring-loaded engagement of the detents, moved through a set of registered positions between a deployed configuration wherein the spreader bars are maintained in a substantially radial pattern for trolling use and a folded configuration wherein the bars are substantially aligned for storage. The spreader bars are each provided with a plurality of dropper fasteners fitted along the length of each bar for suspending a respective number of teaser strips bearing baitfish images. Perforated end tips on the spreader bars are further provided to generate an increased bubble trail emanating from the ends that enhances the simulated effect of the teaser strips and increases the level of attraction to game fish.08-11-2011
