20090133304Durable display apparatus with retention lip - An advertising display apparatus comprising a hollow receiving tube with an essentially closed distal end and an essentially open proximal end enclosed within a base region, means for retaining a preprinted material inserted through said base region, wherein the hollow receiving tube comprises a plurality of faces where at least one face is transparent and through which said preprinted material may be viewed. The hollow receiving tube in conjunction with the essentially closed distal end and the proximal base end act to retain the preprinted material in a protected environment which aids in ensuring a clean, quality representation of the preprinted material for protracted time periods, especially in environments where people may come into repeated contact with the display apparatus and it is desirable to maintain the quality of the preprinted material, such as restaurants, trade shows and retail sales stores. The plurality of faces comprising the hollow receiving tube are preferably of a convex shape for enhancing retention of the preprinted material and ensuring positive engagement of the preprinted material up to and against the respective face. Included within the base region is a printed material retention lip which extends into and partially occludes the essentially open proximal end of the hollow receiving tube. The base region is designed to allow the display apparatus to remain stable when set upon a flat horizontal surface and may optionally include additional fitments to allow for attachment of the display apparatus to surfaces not of a flat horizontal orientation. The base region may further include means for producing light or sound so as to enhance the attractive attention value of the display apparatus.05-28-2009

20110203150CONFIGURABLE COMPUTER DISPLAY STAND BEARING SIGNAGE WITH A USER-SELECTED ONE OF MULTIPLE ORIENTATIONS TO PHYSICALLY CONFORM TO POINT OF SALE PHYSICAL CONSTRAINTS - A display stand for a laptop computer has an L-shaped spine supporting the computer. A T-shaped upper advertising substrate holder can be slid into the vertical leg of the spine in one of multiple orientations, i.e., with the cross-bar of the T horizontal to the ground or vertical to the ground on either the left side or right side of the computer, as point of sale (POS) physical constraints demand. In all orientations of the upper holder, an upper advertising substrate is supported by the upper holder in a vertical orientation. A T-shaped lower advertising substrate holder can be slid into the horizontal leg of the spine to support a lower advertising substrate in a horizontal orientation.08-25-2011
20110296728USER CONFIGURABLE IDENTIFICATION APPARATUS AND METHOD - A user assembleable identification device employable as a dog tag or other user-worn identifier configured for wearing around the neck on a chain or similar restraint. The device is provided in a kit of components assembleable to a readable tag which all come engaged to a chain or similar restraint to prevent component loss during transport. The assembled dog tag is formed of a malleable frame having a window therein surrounded by a slot. A cover sheet provides a templet for the user to cut a user formed display sheet to size. The display sheet bears user imparted identification indicia and is sandwiched between two protective cover sheets and engaged in the slot. Instructions are placed on the cover sheet for the user to assemble the device.12-08-2011
20130086833METHOD OF INFORMATION TAG ATTACHMENT/REMOVAL ON SHELVES - A method of providing a shelf-attached tag holder defining an upwardly-open slot for receiving a main price tag and further having a slip-fit top attachment system; and placing a main price tag into the upwardly-open slot in a visible position. The method also includes temporarily attaching a supplemental information tag by sliding a top edge of the supplemental information tag into the downwardly-open front throat with a folded attachment flange providing positive engagement with the slip-fit top attachment system, with the supplemental information tag being positioned in front of the main price tag. The method also includes, after the step of temporarily attaching, a step of pulling the supplemental information price tag downwardly with sufficient force to overcome the positive engagement of the folded attachment flange to thus remove the supplemental information tag without disturbing the main price tag.04-11-2013
20140250749SHELF-TYPE DISPLAY MODULE - A shelf-type display module includes a carrier tray assembly including a carrier tray having a top, a bottom, a plurality of tracks and at least one light. The plurality of tracks protrude from the top of the carrier tray and the at least one light is mounted to the bottom of the carrier tray. An insert tray includes a main body having components for holding products for display and components for mating with the plurality of tracks on the carrier tray. The components of the main body that mate with the plurality of tracks on the carrier tray slide along the plurality of tracks from a right side to a left side of the carrier tray or from the left side to the right side of the carrier tray.09-11-2014
