20080222852 | Button hook - A button hook fastener includes a longitudinally extending solid plate, sized to fit a clothing button hole of one half inch or less. The proximal end of the button fastener includes a three dimensional finger engaging stop portion, preferable spherical. This enables the user to hold the plate within two fingers, but the three dimensional stop prevents the plate from slipping through the two fingers of the user. In order to capture a button, an open hook at the distal end of the plate is wrapped around the threading holding the button to a shirt. To maintain stability, the forward end of the hook has a slight taper, so that it can be easily inserted within a typical shirt button hole of one half inch or less. Additionally, there is an angled guide leading from a recess to the longitudinally extending inner confines of the arcuate hook, to guide the thread holding the button to within the confines of the arcuate hook. | 09-18-2008 |
20090007392 | TEXTILE, PARTICULARLY HOUSEHOLD, HOME OR FURNISHING FABRICS, ITEM OF CLOTHING OR ACCESSORY, PIECE OF FURNITURE AND FURNISHING - An inventive bed linen in the form of a (large) duvet cover | 01-08-2009 |
20090249584 | CHARM INSERTER - A charm inserter includes a first restraining end spaced apart from a second restraining end and a charm end. The charm end connects on a first side to the first restraining end and on a second side to the second restraining end. The first side is non-parallel and non-perpendicular with the second side, and the charm end includes a first portion, second portion, third portion, fourth portion, and fifth portion. | 10-08-2009 |
20130025090 | Button Assistive Device - An assistive device for releaseably engaging a button and manipulating it into and out of a button hole is disclosed. The device is preferably provided as a continuous metal wire structure. The structure defines a receiving aperture for receiving and slideably engaging a button between the lower surface of the button and the fabric on which the button is affixed by means of threaded button stitches whereby the threaded stitches slide between one of a pair of opposing sets of rails, thereby permitting the user to easily manipulate the button into and out of a button hole. | 01-31-2013 |
20140123437 | FASTENER ASSISTANCE DEVICE - A fastener assistance device comprising an elongated shank having a first end and an opposite second end and a first clip containing a first inner surface configured for selective securement of a button and/or similar like fastener. | 05-08-2014 |
20160113358 | Apparatus for Coupling and Decoupling Button and Loop Connections of a Garment - An apparatus for coupling and decoupling button and loop connections of a garment. The apparatus includes a longitudinally extending body member having a handle member extending from a first end and a pair of prongs extending from an oppositely disposed second end. One prong has a hook on its distal end and the other prong has an expanded end member on its distal end. The prongs are generally parallel with one another forming a gap therebetween such that upon insertion of the prongs into a loop, the prongs cooperate to open the loop and position the loop relative to a button such that rotation of the apparatus about an axis of rotation defined through the prongs proximate the hook and the expanded end causes the loop to be moved relative to the button, thereby coupling or decoupling the loop and the button. | 04-28-2016 |
20160143399 | Combination hidden necktie restraint and buttoning-assist device - A device that serves both for retaining a necktie against free displacement and also for assisting buttoning of a garment comprises first and second loop elements and a flexible link element, attached at its opposite ends to the link elements. Each loop element defines a compound aperture having a larger end section, through which a button may pass, a smaller end section by which an element fastening the button may be engaged and secured by shifting of the loop element relative thereto, and a constricting neck section formed at the intersection of said larger and smaller end sections of said loop elements for maintaining the fastening element the button against unintentional release from the smaller end section of the loop element. | 05-26-2016 |
