The head is provided with adjacent contrarotating brushes that are of cylindrical shape and have substantially parallel axes, each of them being supported at least at their distal end by a bearing and each being driven by a shaft. The shafts are flexible and supported by the two bearings to allow the two brushes to move away from and towards each other. The support includes four flexible branches around a central component serving to fix the support on the head composed of a single arm. The support and/or the head of the toothbrush are designed such that the support is fixed on the head while allowing the support to pivot about its point of fixation to the head.06-16-2011
20130000061ROTATING TOOTHBRUSH - Disclosed herein is a rotating toothbrush including: a handle provided with a lever; a head part having bristles implanted on a lower surface thereof and a shaft vertically provided on an upper surface thereof; an operating rod provided in the handle and operated in conjunction with the lever to move linearly in a length direction of the handle; a tilting member rotatably supporting the shaft and pressed when the operating rod moves forward, thereby being tilted at a predetermined angle in an upward direction together with the head part based on a tilting axis; and a rotation driving member connected to the operating rod and the shaft to rotate the shaft when the operating rod moves forward, thereby allowing the head part to form a T shape with the handle. Therefore, the head part is tilted at a predetermined angle in the upward direction when the head part forms the T shape with the handle, such that bristles reach lower portions of lower front teeth, thereby making it possible to prevent generation of tartar as much as possible.01-03-2013
20130091645Electric Toothbrush - An electric toothbrush having a central longitudinal axis is disclosed. The electric toothbrush has a brush head having a bristle roll drive shaft with a plurality of tufts of bristles radially and outwardly disposed thereon, thereby forming a bristle roll and a neck extending between the handle and the brush head. The bristle roll drive shaft and the central drive shaft are operatively connected by a belt and pulley system comprising two pulleys and a belt, and the belt and pulley system is arranged such that the bristle roll drive shaft is offset from and parallel to the central drive shaft of the neck in an eccentric-in-line position. The central drive shaft causes a one-way forward rotating motion of the bristle roll through the belt and pulley system. This rotating motion and direction imitates the brushing technique recommended by dentists to the conventional manual toothbrush users.04-18-2013
20130298340ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH - An electric toothbrush having a central longitudinal axis is disclosed. The electric toothbrush has a brush head having a bristle roll shaft with a plurality of bristle tufts radially and outwardly disposed thereon, thereby forming a bristle roll covered by the cover member. The bristle roll shaft, the horizontal drive shaft and the central drive shaft are operatively connected by a belt and pulley system and a bevel gear system, causing the bended or angle feature of the toothbrush head. The central drive shaft and the horizontal drive shaft cause a one-way forward rotating motion of the bristle roll. This rotating motion and direction simulates the brushing technique recommended by most dentists to the conventional manual toothbrush users.11-14-2013
20130318729ELECTRIC BACK SCRUB BRUSH - An electric back scrub brush that includes a support handle housing having a push button control switch disposed on an outer surface of the support handle housing, a first spur gear coupled to an output end of a motor drive shaft, the motor drive shaft is coupled to a second spur gear which is coupled at a first end of a central drive shaft disposed in a center portion of a neck and a motor energized by a battery disposed within the support handle housing and a second end of a central drive shaft is coupled to a first bevel gear. The electric back scrub brush also includes a brush support housing coupled to the support handle housing, the brush support housing includes the neck and a head and a bristle roll that is protected by a cover member disposed over the head covering the bristle roll.12-05-2013
20140215732ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH - An electric toothbrush including a handle, a head movable with respect to said handle, and a rotating working element having at least one brush located out of the geometric axis of said handle. The electric toothbrush further includes an electric motor for driving the working element in a rotary movement in a clockwise/counterclockwise direction, and a motor rotation direction switch coupled functionally with the head and the handle. The head and the handle are coupled with resilient technical means that enable, after exertion of the torque to the head, to rotate the head with respect to the handle into the left or right positions, where the motor rotation direction switch turns on the motor in the clockwise/counterclockwise rotation direction. After releasing said torque, the resilient technical means enable to maintain the head in a standby position relative to the handle, where the motor rotation direction switch turns off the motor.08-07-2014
20150342333ROTATABLE ROLL BRUSH - A rotatable roll brush that despite combing tangled hair, the hair does not get removed due to the rotation of the brush body part, and when a combing action is required without the rotation of the body part, the brush can be converted and used as a regular brush.12-03-2015
20160058532Toothbrush Assembly - A toothbrush assembly for cleaning a user's teeth includes a housing. A motor is coupled to the housing. A shaft is coupled to motor. The motor rotates the shaft. A brush is structured to have a cylindrical shape. The brush is movably coupled to the housing. The brush is coupled to the shaft. The shaft rotates the brush along a longitudinal axis so the brush may clean teeth. An actuator is coupled to the housing. The actuator is operationally coupled to the motor.
