20090064424GROUND FABRIC FOR MASKING FOR USE IN METHOD OF TRANSFER PIECE DYEING OF EMBROIDERED PART - A masking sheet which is composed of a laminated composite sheet of a water-soluble film and a support made of water-soluble fibers. The masking sheet is used to prevent the migration of dye during a transfer dyeing through embroidery stitches in the production of embroidered fabrics which includes a step of piece-dyeing embroidered patterns using a transfer paper. The masking sheet is easily removed by dissolution in water. Therefore, the masking sheet is suitable for producing embroidered fabrics with good touch which have embroidery patterns with dear color and distinct profile even when the colored patterns are intricate.03-12-2009
20100132135REACTIVE DYES, A PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND THEIR USE - Reactive dyes of formula (I), wherein D is a radical of formulae (II, IV, VI) or (VII), R06-03-2010
20110191966Non-Contact Process For Decorating Dye-Permeable Fibres Of A Cosmetic Applicator - The present invention provides a non-contact process for decorating dye-permeable fibres of a cosmetic applicator. The process comprises heating a dye-carrying surface of a carrier medium to a temperature sufficient to cause a dye plume to be released from said dye-carrying surface. The process further comprises placing said dye-permeable fibres of the cosmetic applicator at a distance from said dye-carrying surface in the path of the released dye plume, thereby allowing said dye to penetrate and decorate said dye-permeable fibres. The dimensions and the density of the dye plume can be optimised by controlled air flow. In an embodiment, the process comprises decorating all of the dye-permeable fibres simultaneously. Alternatively, the process comprises decorating only a portion of the fibres, the portion being either radial sections around a core to which the fibres are fitted, or longitudinal sections along the length of the core. In an embodiment, the distance between the free ends of the dye-permeable fibres and the dye-carrying surface is at least approximately 0.1 mm.08-11-2011
20120073064Method for Patterning a Medical Device - The present disclosure provides a method for forming a color pattern on a medical device.03-29-2012

20100293725PRE-TREATMENT LIQUID FOR LIQUID ABSORBING PRINTING SUBSTRATES - Liquids for the pre-treatment of liquid absorbing substrates, in particular textiles or garments, in printing processes are disclosed, said liquids being based on water and/or a low molecular alcohol and including small amounts of an organic acid and/or other reagents to increase dye fixation as well as at least one corrosion inhibiting agent selected from a group containing quaternary ammonium salts, derivates thereof and their corresponding organically substituted amines, hydroxy substituted acetylenic components and derivates thereof, carboxylic, dicarboxylic and polycarboxylic acids, long-chain carboxylic, dicarboxylic and polycarboxylic acids and separated fractions and derivates thereof, sulfur containing heterocyclic compounds and derivates thereof, nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds and derivates thereof, nitrite and nitrate salts of metal ions, organic nitrites and nitrates, organic nitrogen compounds and reductive nitrogen containing compounds. Preferably the concentration of the corrosion inhibiting agent is between 0.01 wt. % and 10 wt. % and the surface tension of the liquid between 15 mN/m and 70 mN/m.11-25-2010

20100199442METHOD FOR FORMING VINTAGE EFFECT WASHER AND THE VINTAGE EFFECT WASHER - The present invention relates to a method for forming vintage effect washer by blowing up by air on one to another synthetic fiber filament yarns of a fabric, dyeing and drying the fabric with the filament yarns blown up as described in the above, getting the synthetic fiber partially back to the condition prior to the blowing-up of the synthetic fiber, thereby naturally producing a creased appearance.08-12-2010
20130055509KIT AND METHOD FOR TIE-DYEING AND UTENSIL THEREFOR - Kit for tie-dyeing an object includes a utensil that retains the object, at least one container of dyeing material, at least one device for maintaining a gathered portion of the object together, and an optional instruction manual or idea guide. The utensil includes a base that can retain the dye containers and devices and an insert arranged in connection with the base. The insert is used during the tie-dyeing and includes a grate elevated from a bottom of the insert, defined by a bottom part, and having a plurality of apertures. The grate forms a support surface for the object and enables dye to flow through the apertures onto the bottom of the insert. The grate can be separated from the bottom part for cleaning and the bottom part can be removed from the base for cleaning.03-07-2013
