20090019620GOGGLES WITH INTERCHANGEABLE LENS - The goggles of the invention utilize a substantially rigid frame with separate top and bottom individually rotatable elements, namely an upper browbar and a lower nosepiece, that firmly capture the lens from above and below. The lens is further secured to the frame by projections on each of the browbar and nosepiece which fit through apertures in the lens. At the top, a post which projects forwardly from the frame is received in the well of the browbar by snap-fit engagement. At the bottom, a prong on the rotatable nosepiece passes through a bottom aperture of the lens and is received in a recess of a bottom portion of the frame by snap-fit engagement. The apertures and cooperating projections are preferably located along the center of a one-piece lens. Thus, the rotatable browbar and nosepiece capture the lens top and bottom by edgewise compression and hold the lens front-to-back.01-22-2009
20090300829Face Mask with Air Flow Means - A face mask for use with Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) diving equipment which forms a sealed enclosure about the user's eyes and nose but not the mouth has a frame with sides and a clear viewing port and a means to introduce air flow into the enclosure. In the manufacture, a mold is used to first make the flexible attaching section, which is then placed in another mold for processing, or alternatively, a multiple-material injection molding machine is applied to carry out automatic molding without removing the flexible attaching section, in which before the processing, a window section is placed in the mold to be processed simultaneously. Thereafter, a support section is formed in such a way that one side of the support section completely covers the window section and an opposite side coupled to the flexible attaching section.10-22-2015
20150320600SPORT GOGGLES AND ADAPTORS FOR SPORT GOGGLES - A goggle frame and an adaptor configured to attach to the goggle frame are disclosed in accordance with various embodiments. The adaptor may allow the goggle frame to adapt to different lenses or accessories. In particular, the adaptor may allow the goggle frame to adapt to lenses of different sizes, thicknesses, shapes, shades, colors, prescriptions, curvatures, and the like. Further, the adaptor may allow the goggle frame to adapt to various accessories, such as roll-off film systems of different sizes, various imaging devices, e.g., cameras, video cameras, display devices, e.g., LCD or LED displays, heads up displays, lighting devices, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and the like.11-12-2015
20150359675ADHESIVE MOUNTABLE STACK OF REMOVABLE LAYERS - An eye protector includes a lens configured to protect the wearer from projectiles, and an optically clear stack attached to the lens. The stack can have one or more removable layers. The eye protector also includes an optically clear dry mount adhesive layer attaching the stack to the lens. The dry mount adhesive may be self-wetting to attach the stack to the lens so that air between the stack and the lens can be removed after the stack is attached and/or adhered to the lens, for example, by applying pressure across the surface of the stack. The refractive indices of the lens, the dry mount adhesive, and each removable layer are matched to within about 0.2.12-17-2015
20160015566EAR-ENGAGING AND EYE-COVERING HEAD ASSEMBLY - The present invention relates to an eye-protector assembly. The assembly includes arcuate-shaped protective cover. The assembly includes an eye-covering member pivotably connected to the protective cover. The protective cover is shaped to receive the eye-covering member when the eye-covering member is pivoted towards the cover. The assembly includes a pair of connector mechanisms for selectively coupling the protective cover to a hearing protector.01-21-2016
20160120701UNDERWATER MASK - An underwater mask includes a buckle with a strap that can be moved and adjusted in the up-down and lateral directions on a wearer's head. The buckle includes a base including a spring with a locking hook, a strap adjuster body turnably attached to the base and including a plurality of engaging teeth configured to sequentially engage with the locking hook according to the turn, a handling member held inside the body and operated from outside the body, and a stopper held by the body. The handling member includes a spring, sliding portion, and a pair of finger pads exposed outside the body by the spring. The stopper includes a sliding contact tapered protrusion that slides sliding against the pair of sliding portions to cause the stopper to swing toward a direction opposite to the strap adjuster body and release the pawl from the engaging teeth of the strap.05-05-2016
